Being a mom is an exhausting, nerve-wrecking, and oftentimes thankless job. 

When we are not able to take the time to care for ourselves, all those anxieties and stresses we are feeling often affect those closest to us and have a very negative impact.

Raising a child with ADHD or other neurodivergent disorders can certainly make us feel defeated as parents. There is a small group of other moms who can understand what you may be going through, and I am part of that group. Our opportunity to raise these children is a much different path than other "normal" parents. Not only will we have a more difficult path, but we also get to be the moms to some of the most creative and unique kids.

I realized I needed a change in my life, as the more negative my thoughts were, the more I projected the negativity onto my kids and family. Negative thoughts can be just as powerful as positive thoughts, but with much different outcomes. This audiobook is meant to help you convert your negative thoughts into positive thoughts to help you achieve a much more positive life for both you and your family. 

These affirmations should be repeated out loud and with conviction. The book is separated into three categories: morning affirmations, bedtime affirmations, and "I need a minute" affirmations. You can always repeat these affirmations whenever you feel the need to, as you can never practice your affirmations too often. 

The goal is to to think positive, attract positive vibes, build your confidence as a strong parent and individual, and believe that anything is possible as long you set your mind to it. Remember that situations are only temporary and nothing is permanent.

Helpful for anyone who needs to take a break!

Affirmations are an easy, yet effective way to recenter yourself, especially in stressful situations. And while all children are a blessing, sometimes it doesn't feel that way. I love how this author acknowledges this and provides easy-to-follow guidance for practicing affirmations. Great book!

Affirmations for moms that will inspire!

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. To help our children succeed, we need to learn to appreciate them and support them. ADHD is not always caused by something else. As we affirm those things, we are reminded of the importance of our well-being, our feelings, and our children as well. Please read this book and practice these affirmations every day. It is highly recommended.

Positive Power!

This audiobook has its place in society. I enjoyed listening to it, learning and understanding what mothers or fathers can go through with a turbulent child who has problems like ADHD. I recommend it to mothers so as not to lose patience raising a child suffering from ADHD or another neurodivergent problem. My mental health is important is an affirmation that I like.

Excellent Helping Guide

This is a short book which is very soothing to listen while you commute and it relaxes you with the information if you raising a kid one like that. Few tips can be practically implemented and it makes lot of sense. Worth it!

Fantastic for Parents

This book is very helpful for stressed parents, it offers great advice on how to deal with your emotions correctly in difficult moments. Great resource

I enjoyed this book of affirmations. I think it can also be used my mums who do not have children with ADHD. The book is easily to follow. In order to gain the full benefit of the book I revommend that you commit to the practical steps outlined and repeat the affirmations regularly.

Just the right words I need.

I couldn’t be thankful enough for how this book helped me get through my everyday life as a mum of two lovely boys. They have special needs and I have to exert extra mile of effort and patience and understanding to support them. I burn out. I believe we all get to that point. Thanks to this audiobook, I can pull myself together day and night. Love that there are even "I need a minute" affirmations. This is a must-have ladies.

Great resource for parents!

I love how you don’t have to listen to this audiobook in one go. It is split up so you can access the affirmations depending on your situation and/or time of day. It really emphasises how important self-care is as busy parents, particularly with children with ADHD and other conditions to help reduce burnout. The affirmations are short and to the point, and you’re given a chance to repeat them as the audiobook plays to really get the most out of it. If affirmations are your thing and you’re a parent that needs a break, this audiobook is for you!

Amazing help for moms

These affirmations are on the spot. It is aimed at mothers of ADHD kids or kids with disorders, but these can apply to any mother. I found them very helpful and encouraging. This audiobook is certainly powerful, definitely a must for all moms!

A helping hand for the struggling mother.

The strongest people I have met are parents of children with special needs or developmental issues. The fact that they manage to carry on in spite of the struggles, and do so with love, empathy, and compassion, has always amazed me. This book is a reminder that these parents are struggling daily, regardless of how much strength they exude publically. A collection of affirmations such as this is invaluable to get them through every day, and is a must-read for any expectant parent who may not know what issues their own child will have as well, or even just for friends who want a better understanding of what their beloved friends are dealing with. This book will inspire and motivate any reader, regardless of whether they are parents of special needs children or not. Powerful!

love those affirmations

I think those affirmations are great for every mum. I belive that every mum is struggling with something. If it is not ADHD it is something else. Those affirmations help us remember how important our well-being, our feelings as well as our children. I love the music and narration as well. great book
