Enjoyable Holmes book of stories

Tales from the Annals of Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Hall was a very enjoyable book. The stories were interesting and held my attention. The mysteries were also well crafted and overall well written. The narration by David Bufton was great.

Another strong entry in the series

This collection of Arthur Hall's Sherlock Holmes pastiche holds its own when compared to his other books. Hall does a very good job capturing the mood/atmosphere of the era. Narrator David Bufton's unique, almost gentle voice makes the recording a relaxing listen.

A good collection

A nice collection of short stories, with a good sense of the characters and interesting cases.

I wasn't very fond of the narrator but that, of course, is a question of taste :P

If you enjoy classical Holmes' stories, this is for you.

Is this a joke?!

What person or persons thought it was a good idea to choose a narrator who sounds like he’s been pulled away from the service counter at Argos to try and deliver an authentic feel to Sherlock Holmes?
I’m still in shock. Such good stories, too. I’ll get the printed version and try again!
