A must book
I heard the book twice, found myself writing notes and integrating to other ideas. This book is a wake up call for all difital refugees and it will make you imigrate the digital world, embrace nature and look for new ways howcto make A.I to I.A. The narration is also great. Thank you thomas friedman. your book is a true gift

Old Man Rants at Cloud, with Optimism
The beginning third is old hat for anyone who follows emerging tech, the middle third is good content and the final third is basically a soap box on how the world should be by referencing how he grew up. Good book maybe for the middle-aged or seniors to catch up on what's happening with the world.

Excellent beginning and middle then downhill
some great points and examples. way too centered on the US. the author talks about diversity and justice, and then surprisingly and hypocritically goes on to describe how to make America great again at the cost of other nations and the planet.

Feels dated
I’m only about a third through so perhaps this will improve but the anecdotes feel very dated, especially with relation to technology. And if I hear “cloud slash supernova” many more times … maybe at the time this seemed reasonable but given how widely adopted the term “cloud” has been for about a decade, it’s incredibly annoying that the author decided to use his own term

Future needs: Technology, trust and social capital
Excellent commentary, memoir, and analysis from leading New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. The book is filled with insights regarding technology, communication, accelerating change, and how to keep your cool. It highlights the importance of trust, social capital, community and social cohesion. It emphasises personal relationships and engagement and brings a sensitive focus to the the current period of accelerating globalisation and change. It's down-to-earth, genuine and empathetic. Well worth a listen.

A fascinating picture of where the world is headed and the pace at which we are going there
This audiobook has been blowing my mind lately. Friedman has a skilful way of communicating such varied and complex topics in a way that I can understand. The stats and stories he provide leave me in awe at the current state of things in the world from technology to environment to business. Reveals a pretty astonishing picture of where the world currently is and where it is heading. Well read and skilfully researched and written.

Enlightening
What did you like most about Thank You for Being Late?
Such an engaging start and such and interesting author. It has a few slow patches but is definitely worth listening to right through.
