Publisher's Summary

USA Today bestselling author Meghan Quinn’s second book in the Getting Lucky series brings heart, humor, and heat back to Port Snow.

There are two little words every small-town man dreads:

She’s back.

Harper Sanders, the girl who was supposed to be my forever, has returned to Port Snow, Maine, for good - and she’s bringing back memories of our shared past.

We once had a bright future together, but when tragedy struck, I threw it all away and pushed her out of my life. People in our small town think I’m cursed, but I know better. I did it all to myself.

And now she’s creating a life of her own in the place where we first fell in love. I can’t fight my feelings for her - or the strong attraction that keeps pulling us together. But after all this time, can she forgive the past and fall in love with me all over again?

Everyone hopes to find that forever girl…I just hope I haven’t lost mine for good.

That Forever Girl

I am loving this series and Rogan and Harper started as best friends that turns to love in high school. As true love is, they settle on the same college where Rogan is a star football player until a reckless accident at a frat party takes away his career and eventually the demons in his soul lead to him ending his relationship with Harper and going back home. This story is told in past and present and at times is heart breaking and at others is filled with so much joy. Harper is back in town now and running into Rogan all the time. Now with the movie company coming to town she has been hired to find all the places to film around town and ends up working with Rogan. Can they work together? Will they find their way back together? Can they learn to trust and love again? This series is so, so good!

Beautiful and Warm

Loved Rogan and Harper. Such a heart warming story. Just the right hint of erotica, based on true love. Can't wait for The Secret Crush book 3. Please come straight to audible and used the same narrator❤❤❤.

Those group texts!

Seriously, those group texts read out loud are about to get me in trouble at work. I loved the story of Harper and Rogan finding their way back to each other. It was tear jerking, yet heartwarming, at the same time.

Overall, Pretty Good

Good addition to series. I usually don't listen to the stories if the characters are under 30 but wanted to continue the series. The Harper character is 28- she isn't a very strong character. She's hanging onto the past constantly. Broken heart or not, if 7 years have gone by and someone hasn't moved on, they need professional help. She needs some self esteem lessons as well. She's unsure of practically everything. Once again, if you're nearing 30 and haven't started figuring your life out then help is needed. Rogan is a bit stronger character. Still holds onto the past but not as whiney as Harper. He's moved on to have his own life except not very happy. The story was a bit too long. Past and present mixed in was a bit much. Narrators were pretty good. Male better than the female. Listen to the story if you want to continue the series. Younger listeners- 30 and under would probably like better than older. Only because of the immaturity issues.

Great Narration

I gotta give the male narrator a lot of props because he continued the voice he gave Rogan in the last book into this book and That is an undervalued skill in these kinds of series. Adored him for that.

Beautiful second chance.

I love That Forever Girl. It’s a beautiful, slow burn and at time painful read, that brings out all the feels for me. I adore that Rogan and Harper are old love who rekindles their relationship after a terrible break up seven years ago. Rogan suffered an imaginable loss and anyone who knows anything about someone going through traumatic life changes or tragedies will change the person who suffers said tragedy. Rogan works hard to grow up and be mature and once he has the opportunity he goes after his Forever Girl.
