Publisher's Summary

When her father is injured in an accident, Edinburgh engineer Pippa McDonnell comes home to Gandiegow to take over the family business, the North Sea Valve Company. Now she's working overtime trying to fix NSV's finances and find the cash to get her father proper medical care. One possibility is to accept a partnership with MTech, an American firm desperate to get their hands on her da's innovative valve design.

He was against bringing in outsiders, but Pippa is desperate enough to at least listen to MTech's charming representative Max McKinley. As Christmas approaches and with the help of Gandiegow's meddling quilters, Pippa and Max slowly find themselves attracted to each other. Max seems honorable, but is he there to steal the valve design...or Pippa's heart?

I love you Patience Griffin!

Please write more Kilts and Quilts episodes? I really think Bonnie needs a story. I don't know how that spectacular brain of yours concocted this story but it's wonderful! And it makes me happy! After the last couple of years.. everyone needs happy in their life, especially old ladies like me lol! I believe in community and a village. I actually have one myself, here in Northwest Arkansas. I'm actually a Sinclair, so Scottish books are special to me.

FYI... I read the entire series when it was through Audible Escapes for free. But I love them so much that I had to buy the series and now they're in my library.

Please carry on Miss Patience... be inspired to write more sweet lady, for those of us that look forward to it. Love and hugs!

I think this was my 2nd favorite of all (9) books

I liked this one alot. Great new characters. contained the usual mischief and romance and then some. The narrator was brilliant again.

Can't we just talk?

It's rediculous how many people in this story refuse to talk to each other! Sheesh already.

I couldn’t finish it man

I don’t know why but the chemistry between the main characters was just off. Don’t even get me started on the sexual interactions between them... Im not sure why Mrs Griffin bothered with the sex in this book. . It felt very forced and anticlimactic man. On top of that the characters as a whole were very childish, especially Pippa man. 🙄🙄

Interesting take-off on find raising

Another episode about a small Scottish village and how they brings in tourists and how a matchmaker brings people together to find love.

Accidentally Wonderful

I expected to enjoy this as a lightweight bit of fluff. And it is - perfectly enjoyable with twists and turns and flawed, quirky, adorable characters.
