British accent very tiring.

The British accent of a well known American story was too much for us to listen to. We would like a different narrator.

For Hire: Southern Voice actor

This book is known for its in depth and accurate Southern dialects. That they would hire someone who's not born in the south of the United States of America is shocking because it's so obviously a dumb idea.

Narrated in a British Accent?

I cannot get past the first few sentences of the American classic narrated in a British accent! That was a ridiculous choice! I love the sound of a Brit speaking, but it’s ludicrous to try to listen to this book in the totally wrong voice.
