Publisher's Summary

From NYT best-selling author Thea Harrison comes the explosive conclusion to The Unseen!

When Dragos and Pia move to the Other land of Rhyacia, they hope starting a new life will bring safety and freedom to their family, especially their young baby, Niall. And at first their new home seems perfect...but looks are deceiving.

Beneath Rhyacia’s idyllic façade an ancient, malevolent force lurks, waiting for the right opportunity to break free of its cage. When that opportunity comes, it strikes with devastating accuracy.

While Dragos has never backed down from a fight, he’s also never encountered an enemy like this one before. How can he fight a foe who doesn’t have a body? A foe who can invade and turn his own mind against him?

How can Dragos protect his family, when at any moment one of them may become the enemy?

As Dragos and Pia race against time to fight this unseen menace, they must also acknowledge a terrifying truth - when anyone can become the enemy, no one can be trusted.

An adversary who can trap the dragon poses a threat to everyone in Rhyacia, and that means no one is safe....

This book does NOT end on a cliffhanger.

Conclusion to Rhyacia series

Thea Harrison originally planned a trilogy for the Chronicles of Rhyacia; however, she let us know early on that struggles were prohibiting her continuation of this story arc. She pushed through and gave us this conclusion in book two and, in my opinion, it was well worth the wait. I appreciate both the comfort of this visit with Dragos, Pia et al as well as the valiant effort it must have taken to push through and complete this tale. Bravo, Thea Harrison. Bravo. I'm greedy enough to want more Liam AND Rhyacia and every reread of American Witch is a beautiful torture because of the pause. But I treasure the gifts she has given us and wish her nothing but love and support and good health.

We've been listening to Sophie Eastlake through this entire series. Some of us stalked her other personality to continue getting fixes of that perfect narration when "Sophie" fell off the map for a while. Regardless, the perfection that she brings to narration is incomparable. Because I just happed to be listening to something narrated by her several years ago, the maturity in her voice staggered me. When did this happen? Seriously, go listen to Dragon Bound and come back to this one. Whew. Stunning but it makes me feel old for some reason, lol.

A great story that ended all to soon

I loved how characters from almost all of her previous from this series kept popping up. But none of them overstayed their welcome or took away from important story building with our main couple Pia & Dragos. The pacing was a bit fast but still throughly enjoyable. The adversary was truly challenging & loathsome opponent. It had me bitting my lip in anticipation of the outcome of 2 major confrontations. And yet like a good Rollercoaster, it was over way to soon. But it did have a good ending that is hopefully just for now. I definitely want more stories of "Hellbaby" Naill and grown up Liam.

great ending to the adventures of Dragos and Pia

This second book was amazing and wrapped up the story of their move. Met all our old friends and set the stage for Liam life and rule. Can't wait to read more of this amazing series.

unseen and adversary

i loved the story line mostly because i love dragos, pia, liam and grace and her gjin. i also liked the introduction of morgan le feys character. my favorite pieces mostly included dragos and liams power, similarities but also differences as befitting an ancient and his child

Thea Harrison does it again

I Love this author, she keeps
You engrossed in the story line and has caused me to
Loose quite a bit of sleep because, once you start one of her novels you just don’t want to put it
Down. And Sophie
Eastlake makes the story
Come
To
Life. What a team!!!

Surprising

One of my favorite series, a joy to be able to see them again. Ms. Harrison is so talented in bringing characters to life. Truly hope we hear more about their new lives, and see how well Liam rules the new generation. Well worth the credit.

Great Book

My only complaint was that I was able to anticipate the ending. The reader is excellent. I hope that this is not the last Elder Races book.

On the edge of my seat!!

I swear I have never been on the edge of my seat so much as I’ve been while listening to this book. I’m not a huge fan of cliff hangers but I can’t wait until the next book. It was SUPERB!!!
