The scientific info was good but…

Some authors just shouldn’t be narrators of their own words. The reading of the work, the personal examples in particular, are so overly dramatized with awful accents that it brings down and distracts from the overall work.

Overall good

The book was interesting and flowed well. But I had a hard time with the author's reading of the book. Inflections were off and at times it seemed there was yelling where it didn't make sense. It was too dramatic and distracted from the content

THE BOOK IS GOOD BUT THE NARRATION IS HORRIFIC

THE BOOK ITSELF IS GOOD BUT WHEN THE NARRATOR READS IN SOMEONE ELSE'S VOICE IT IS BEYOND GRINGE WORTHY. IF IT HAD BEEN READ IN A REGULAR VOICE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER. THE FAKE VOICES HE USES FOR PEOPLE IN HIS STORY ARE SO BAD.

So worth the wait!

Mark Anthony’s new book “The Afterlife Frequency” does not disappoint! What an ideal combination of deep and timely topics like quantum physics, touching and affirming stories from the personal and business worlds as well as via great thinkers through the ages, international adventure, and of course, humor. (Which is pretty much a given with Mark as narrator.) Fasten your metaphorical seatbelt and prepare to enjoy the ride!

Lacking factual basis

this book had claimed it would offer evidence for a variety of things to prove the theories being stated, however, it was a lot of hypothetical and opinions combined with beliefs. I had hoped there would be more scientific basis but instead it was mostly hard to believe to be quite honest and I'm somebody that does believe in the soul and life after death and all of that kind of thing. there were a few pieces of interesting information here and there but overall it was the kind of thing that you have to believe already to buy into this because if you are looking for hard scientific reasoning or a factual basis to make an educated decision this is not provided.

Excellent and fascinatinwriting, painful recording

I really, really liked this book. It was well-backed with good research and a mix of examples and facts, and was overall well written. But the recording is tinny and unpleasant. I wish he had done justice to the material and hired a pro to do the recording.

The performance is ugh

The story and the author’s resume are impressive but the performance of this audiobook is extremely distracting. It sounds like a bad amateur actor in a horrible indie film. Probably should have hired a professional reader. It really took away from the impactful content.

Love Mark’s Stories and Messages 💝

Thank you so much for your gift, Mark. The world needs you, your talents, your sensitivity, and your amazingly caring heart. I resonate with your energy, your stories and your messages very much. I have similar backgrounds and experiences. I am a CPA and financial advisor, and I serve my community as a Qi Gong master teaching self-healing and self-empowerment practices at a nonprofit organization. In my work as a Qi Gong master, I have also seen spirits and used the messages from them to help a lot of people with their healing. Based upon my observations, I have seen “heaven”, but not hell in the sense of God’s punishing some people after they die. And yes, there is “hell” is this material world. Karma is real and scientific. I’m going to buy all of your other books as I really appreciate your humility and the way you explain energetic and spiritual phenomena. Please keep up your great work and take good care of yourself (no more fast foods) as this material world needs you to stay here for a long time to help so many more people.

Disappointed

The author and narrator didn't make the scenarios seem believable. They were read childlike and over excitedly thereby sounding over dramatised.
A chunk of this book is more about the author and things that others have said and researched. Nothing new.
Disappointed.
