Publisher's Summary

Aiden Anderson got off to a tough start in life.

He had a small family to begin with, and they were all gone by the time he turned 16. He did his best to shake off his grief and go on to a successful life as a musician. He was talented, but just missed the big time.

When Aiden dies in a car crash, he couldn't be more surprised to open his eyes in his grandmother's kitchen in 1961. He has a second chance at everything: family, friends, and fame. Even in Middle Falls, second chances don't always turn out right.

Includes bonus story Rock 'n' Roll Heaven and a special note from the author.

Absolutely magical!

The entire Middle Falls Time Travel series is phenomenal. This, the latest addition, is no exception. Shawn Inmon creates characters that the reader truly comes to care for and love (and on occasion despise - although redemption is often forthcoming.) When an author can give you goosebumps from emotion, not fright, make you laugh, bring tears to your eyes all within the span of a few pages, that is something special. Mr. Inmon delivers every single time, as do the different narrators.

After I had listened to three or four of these books I started to expect the story lines to get stale; but, after 14 books, it hasn’t happened yet. Now I truly believe they never will. I cannot wait for the next books to come out. In the meantime, I suppose I will have to start back at the beginning and listen to them all again.

Middle Falls Magic !

The latest instalment maintains the high standard of Middle Falls stories and has some great music industry nostalgia in the mix PLUS a bonus Rock ‘n Roll story.
What more could you ask for?

Another home run!!!

Shawn Inmon hits it out of the park again with the latest addition to the Middle Falls series! I can only think of one other author whose series I could continue to read after the second or third book let alone thoroughly enjoy! Actually two, I forgot about JK Rowling, lol.

Losing his touch?

Michael was the best character, fight me :). After book 11 the characters are very one-dimensional. Get rich, ok. Travel, ok. Get laid, ok. I think we need more.. Maybe the institute needs to play a bigger role?

Another winner

I was so happy to see that Shawn Inmon added another Middle Falls story. I immediately purchase his books as soon as I realize another is out & they never disappoint. This one was no exception…. I liked Aiden Anderson & the way his story unfolded. Thanks to the author for continuing this series.

I've read the whole series. This is my favorite

Inmon makes a comment in his author's note in one of the books about how much he admires Stephen King. IMHO what King does best is develop unforgettable, fully-formed characters. Guessing Inmon agrees because how else do you write 14 books with the same premise set in the same place?

While some in the series are just ok, I always keep reading because of his characters. This one was especially good in both character and plot and was a tad different than the rest. Inmon, unlike some authors, gets better the longer he writes.

And probably the best compliment these days: I've listened to most of his books for free through KU; he's now charging a credit for the audio books and I'm willing to pay!

A very good listen

Mr. Inmon, I'm glad to hear you have more stories in the pipeline. As long as you keep writing, I'll keep listening. I've listened to other books with similar themes, but you do a great job of building the characters into people I like and care for.

Short book and no conflict

First off, the book itself is only 8 hours of the 11 or so hours; the last portion is a novella about rock and roll heaven (did not listen to that part yet).
As for the main content of the book, it is really lacking in any true conflict or strife. The main character is very likable but with virtually no flaws, except being a normal aimless teenager, he is very predictable and boring.
Having listened to the whole series, this is probably the second weakest book in the series. Give it a go if you want mediocrity.

I love this series

I am a huge fan of this series. I have purchased all 14 (at this writing) and enjoyed every one of them. Instead of getting old I feel like the books are only getting better. I really hope the author continues this series. Thank you Mr Inmon for a great story and reminding me of Ringo Starr's No No song.

lovey storyline and well read.

The story well thought out, especially having Aiden jump around in his life so that he understood quickly what was the most important thing for him to concentrate on. A very lovely story.

it's the first time I've listened to a middle falls story, always read them before. now I know how I want to re read them. I've always wanted to start reading the original books but never seem to be able to concentrate too well, now I'm going to be listening to how's someone else reading them

I couldn’t stop listening!

Another great book in the Middle Falls series, with fantastic narration. Shawn Inmon manages to keep every book enjoyable and surprising, and the journeys undertaken his protagonists vary, but never focused on fame and fortunes. In this book, Aiden's journey is about is about finding fulfilment, love and belongining - something most of us strive to achieve in our lifetimes.
