Story
After their hurried escape from the Drake Mountain Facility, Isaac and his group stumbled upon a farmhouse in a secluded valley. It's what they've been looking for - a place to make their home, both now and in the future. Their joy is tempered by questions though. How will they feed and look after themselves, especially with a baby on the way? Was the virus unleashed against the invaders successful, or will they be watching out for their oppressors for the rest of their lives? And even if they are gone, what other dangers in the post-apocalyptic world await them?

The news is full of disturbing events today. There's war and rumors of war. There's the false recovery of the economy. Faith in the US economy is extremely low. Foreign banks have either slowed their purchases of Treasury Bonds or, in a few cases, begun unloading them. We have a current election that is rife with corruption, extreme partisanship, and outright fraud. It would appear the left in the country is ready to do about anything to see their candidate elected.

A nuclear EMP attack would shove the USA back 150 years. Death, chaos, and lawlessness would prevail.... Zack Johnson is no hero, but he does have some valuable prepper skills to help him survive. There is nothing like a nuclear apocalypse to help a man grow up and become a hero as he helps his family and friends survive. He is 2,000 miles from home; the grid and all modern transportation have failed. The country is degenerating into violence and dog-eat-dog scenarios. People are killing their neighbors for a scrap of moldy bread or a sip of water.

It exploded out of Somalia and spread across the oceans before anybody thought to look up from their cell phones to see what was going on. The infected breathed the virus into the air around them, spreading it through the cities faster than anyone thought possible. Hospitals were overwhelmed. Police lines crumbled. Quarantine sites disintegrated. Cities started to collapse.

The Alt Apocalypse is the ground-breaking, genre-bending series from Tom Abrahams. It explores survival under the most extreme circumstances, but with a twist (and no cliff-hangers). This series, which can be listened to in any order, features the same core characters in each complete story. But every book dunks them into a new, alternate apocalypse; a nuclear holocaust, an earthquake, a flood, a wildfire, a hurricane, a plague, and even zombies.

Publisher's Summary
The second thrilling boxed set of the best-selling America Falls series:
Rude Shock, Luke's Trek, and Civil War.
No mazes. No zombies. No games.
After their hurried escape from the Drake Mountain Facility, Isaac and his group stumbled upon a farmhouse in a secluded valley. It's what they've been looking for. A place to make their home, both now and in the future.
Can it be so easy though? Danger is coming, and only time will tell if they have found the salvation they've been seeking or if their dreams will be crushed, leaving them to the same fate as all of those that died before them.
This boxed set contains books four through six of America Falls, a compelling, action-packed series about who we are and who we have to become in order to survive.

Top Quality Series
This is the first review I've ever written after the many audio books (and quite a few post-apocalyptic series) I've listened to - this series is that good. All six books (Box Sets 1 & 2) were great in their own right. I listened to them all over the course of one week (had to work and get other things accomplished!) and am left very satisfied with all aspects of the story. Wonderful character development, common sense situations, nicely descriptive and dramatic WITHOUT being stupid, gross, or vulgar (a huge factor for me). There was suspense, sadness, and cheering on of the good guys - all done beautifully as you experienced the main characters' emotions and life experiences (good and bad) in this new world. Although I would love to hear more about what the future holds for these groups (I've come to love them so), the writing has left me content to either end the series as is or wait for more - again, a good sign of great writing in my humble opinion!
I will definitely look forward to more books written by Scott Medbury - thank you for some of the highest quality of storytelling out there!

A look into the future?
Good series. Predictable at times but otherwise great descriptive writing. Overall it kept me interested. I think some of the predictabilty comes from listening to so many different post-apocolyptic novels. It stands to reason that there would be similarities between them all.

I enjoyed this series much more than I thought I would. typically stories that involve teenagers running the show don't intrest me but this set was very well written and the narrator did a very good job of giving each character their own personality. I will definitely grab lone wolf to finish this off and look forward to more books in the future.

Really good
The continuing story of the America Falls is truly a great story. Although it shows the evil that some may possess, it also shows how good people intrinsically are. Throughout the series we see how Isaac and Luke maintain their good-heartedness. The true understanding of humanity and community that out performs evil in this series helps a person realize that good will always prevail. I highly recommend this. Lone Wolf is next.

Good series, great 5&6 book
I would say that I am veracious reader and listener and get through a few books/ Audio books a week. I have eclectic tastes which range from Jeffrey Archer to Stephen King, my main genres are Fantasy and Sci-fi.
I purchased this set after have kindly being given the first set by the author.
I started off and was disappointed I felt that book 4 was the weakest in the series, it skipped a large passage of time and I felt that this led to the loss of connection with some of the characters.
That being said book 5 and 6 for me turned the corner and I felt the addition of new characters and the return of others added a new dimension to the books which were sorely missed in book 3&4.
This has been written as episodes so there is no real conclusion at the end of each book which I do find a little frustrating however the end of book 6 was ended very well.
The Narration on this was good I had previously criticised the English accents they felt slightly paired down compared to the first books that or I was just getting used to them (I am from the UK).
This set would have been a strong 4 if it wasn’t for book 4 so for that reason it will be a 3 overall.
