Not what it says it is
What would have made The Art of Storytelling better?
A description that accurately reflected the content
Has The Art of Storytelling turned you off from other books in this genre?
Yes, though I never would have chosen this book had I understood what it was
Would you listen to another book narrated by the narrators?
No
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Art of Storytelling?
Very little of this audiobook is actually about storytelling, maybe two fifths at best. The rest is about public speaking in general with individual lectures by 6-7 speakers, despite having only three listed on this site as "authors." Some of them only cover things like handling your nerves and having water to drink. Of the 6.5 hours of audio, maybe just over an hour is actually about how to select, craft, and deliver a story, and of that maybe 30 min. total is actually worth listening to. In addition, several of the speakers spend a great deal of time promoting their other products.
Any additional comments?
Audible needs to review this product and at the very least update the description, perhaps even remove it from the store for lack of value. It was a waste of money.
