Julia Cameron is singularly spectacular
Creatibity awakened. Thank you Julia! Thank you also Eliza Foss. I work in the theatre sector and in my classes always share morning pages as both a reflective and generative tool in addition to the utility herein discussed. Thank you for this labour of love, for being open to the promptings of the spirit.
God bless.

Life changing
This book is very popular with good reason. It took me years to get round to reading it but once I did it really changed the trajectory of my life. I recommend it to everyone I speak to and I recommend it to you. If you have been drawn to check out the reviews then I propose that you are ready to explore your creativity. This book is a great place to start that journey, you will be in the company of greats.

Too much Guru conversation
The book had some interesting ideas but was way too big for the content. The author is constantly talking about her success which is very annoying and always finds a way to relate everything to god. In the end, we can take some very good technics to improve our creativity but as a book does not reach the expectations.

Loved It
This is a must read for every artist out there. A practical (fair warning, it is also faithful) guide to being an artist.
Though I am not in any way religious, I found the concept of morning pages and artist dates to be intriguing.
If nothing else, it is a great reminder that art is about the doing, not the constantly thinking of doing.

Excellent if you can look past the God-stuff
The religious content is VERY in your face..
if you can look past the God-stuff, the underlying content is actionable and effective.
I would love to see a version for "fidgety sceptics and atheists".
