Publisher's Summary

Just friends? Is a peach pie to the face "just" a little mishap? I know what I felt the day Quinn Faulkner saved me from death by dessert. My best friend was always The One. The Impossible. Older. Flawless. Brutally gorgeous. A small-town prince of summer crushes. Leagues above a tag-along dance nerd like me.

Years later, my uncle needs a goat wrangler. I just need an escape. What better way to flee a cheating ex and dumpster fire career? What better way to collide with the boy who got away? And now he's an atrociously hot, mysterious, overprotective beast.

Breathe in. Breathe out. I'm grown up now. Unmoved by his slayer charms and heart-stompy memories. I can't stay to unravel his darkness - or savor his vows to protect me. We're safely platonic.

Until the Ferris wheel incident. Then we're alone with a tension so thick you can chew it. Quinn kisses me like no tomorrow. Truly. Madly. All in. I wanted to piece my life back together. Will shattering the best friend zone leave us whole or heartbroken?

Contains mature themes.

Needs new narrators

The book it self was good but the narration killed it for me. I couldn’t get over the guys voice, I found myself counting the seconds till the female narrator returned. Not only did his voice not fit the character but his accent kept going in and out. I recommend everyone read the book instead of listening to it.

Quinn & Tori

Another great story from Nicole. I love Friends to lovers stories and this one doesn't disappoint. Quinn is smart and sexy with country charm who has always been in love with Tori. Tori has always crushed on Quinn, and always looked forward to her summers with Gran, but also hoping that Quinn would make his move on her. Not until Tori goes back to Dallas N.Dakota to heal after her exes, trips her causing damage to her knees keeping her from her dancing career. This slow burn story ending with scorching sheets, and a forever love. The Narrators donan awesome job of telling their story.

HUMOROUS AND DEEP

I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review though brought the audio which really made me feel like I'm in the Story with Tory & Quinn

Heck I found the connection Between Tory 'Peach' Redson-Riddle-Coffey 'Three Names' & Quinn Faulkner who were childhood Sumner Best Friends & it was hearing their connection when they were younger & visited their own Grandparent during the Summer Holidays in the small town Dallas North Dakota.
We hear why they're both back in Dallas, him after retiring from the Feds & Her on a break from Dancing to heal her Knee which Granny Coffey thinks it's best for her to do it with her, which I'm Pretty sure was for another reason also 🤔😉
And Quinn & Tory's reconnection is a humorous as their first or even funnier, but things only just humour its Quinn's past that comes rolling in & their there for each other just as the Goats whom Tory has been dealing with on the behalf of her Uncle Dean & Owl the goat herder Mastiff Dog, they're some kinda saviours....
Great, Fantastically Brilliant 🐐🐏🐕‍🦺😍❤️
