Publisher's Summary

Best-selling authors Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely team up for the first time in an enemies-to-lovers, opposites-attract, irresistibly sexy stand-alone romance between the best man and the other best man! Performed by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan!

In my defense, I was left alone with a bottle of single-malt and a lifelong penchant for protecting my baby sister. Still, that's no excuse to send 10 drunk-texts on why her hasty marriage would be a mistake.

If only I had just texted my sister. But nope. I accidentally sent the message to her, her groom, and his super hot wingman.

I also used the phrase “super hot wingman”, so I’d like to die now.

Instead, I have to plan a wedding with the aforementioned hottie and share a too-small guesthouse in steamy Miami. Three days in the sun with the cocky, charming former athlete who likes to push my buttons? Fine, two can play at that let’s-infuriate-each-other game.

Until Asher ups the stakes with one wildly sexy suggestion. A no-strings fling, then I go back to my single dad life in New York, and he returns to his star-studded one.

Sign me up.

But the more nights I spend with the other best man, the more I want days too, and that just can't happen. Especially when I find out the real reason why....

Contents Include: first times, a secret to-do list, champion-level flirting, fast cars, #eggplants, and two men who look good in formal wear.

Cute & Steamy Romcom

This was such a cute and steamy MM romcom. I love each of these author's individually, so it's no surprise that I enjoyed their co-authored book as well. I had the pleasure of listening and reading this one and it was such a treat! Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan are two of my favorite narrators and they were perfect as Asher and Mark. They were just the right amount of playful to pull off the banter and snark, while also delivering on the oh so steamy scenes. And boy were those scenes spicy!

This single dad, opposites attract, forced proximity, enemies to friends to lovers romance was hilarious and sweet. I loved how Mark and Asher's relationship shifted and grew as they spent more time together. Mark's vulnerability especially pulled on my heart strings. One of the things I appreciated most about the book was that these two stayed true to themselves and there wasn't a magic solution to their issues. They struggled and hurt, but ultimately found their way through. Definitely recommend experiencing this one on audio if you have the chance!

A fun opposites attract MM romance

The Best Men is a fun opposites attract, MM romance, and VERY steamy! With a single dad, forced proximity, and enemies to lovers added to the equation, this story quickly grabs the reader.

Mark and Asher are both great guys, just very different from each other. Mark is an uptight investment banker, recently divorced, with a young daughter. Asher is a former pro soccer player, very outgoing and friendly, and known to play the field. They meet because they are both the best men for Mark's sister's and Asher's best friend's wedding.

They spark off each other early on, but they don't get along. The story is so much fun as they seem to stumble around each other as they get to know one another. Once they head together to the destination wedding to complete the wedding preparations, Mark and Asher really get to know each other, and things really get interesting.

This story is so entertaining, with well-developed characters, fun settings, and a riveting story line. Full of snark, as well as angst, I highly recommend this book.

Don't miss the short prequel, Super Hot Wingmen, which is a great lead in to this story.

The audiobook narration is wonderful, with Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan both bringing their characters, and the story, to life.

So much fun!

I listened to this on audio and it was so swoon worthy! The narrators are amazing voice actors and made me feel everything Mark and Asher were feeling. It’s both a light hearted flirtation and a sexy M/M story. Another great book from Sarina (and her co author)!

MM perfection!

Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely are two of my absolute favourites. When they announced this book it quickly became my most anticipated release of 2022. Bowen and Blakely have a unique quality to their writing. These authors truly know how to grab their readers from the opening scene. They nail the fun, flirty banter and sexual tension in this opposites attract, MM story with perfection!

Mark is an investment banker, single dad and divorcee. Due to his own experiences his view on love and romance is slightly skewed at the moment. When his sister announces her upcoming marriage to Flip, a wealthy guy she met only a few months previous he is immediately skeptical of their relationship working out. However, her happiness is most important to him and he sets his feelings aside and steps up as Best Man for his sister. The other Best Man is Asher, (Flip’s best friend) and the two are tasked with a trip to Miami to scope out the wedding venue. Mark and Asher have done nothing but get under each other’s skin from first meeting and the sexual tension is coming off them in waves! What could possibly go wrong with a few nights away together?

Asher is an event planner/ photographer and ex soccer star. He is rich, popular and the complete opposite of Mark. Asher’s carefree lifestyle just doesn’t jive for Mark but it is becoming too hard to ignore the sizzling hot chemistry between them. Once Mark and Asher give into their mutual attraction things really heat up! Mark takes spreadsheets to a whole new level and I’ll never look at them quite the same again.

This story is everything I love about romance. It is funny and sexy but at the same time it had its emotional, tender moments as well. I love the growth in Asher and Mark’s relationship as well as individually. What was supposed to be a vacation fling turns into so much more. Even with a few complications and obstacles to navigate together I love how it all turns out and this ended in the most heartwarming and satisfying HEA.

When it comes to MM audiobooks Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are my favourite duo! There is simply no one better than Jeddy! Their voices are playful, flirty, sexy and emotional and when it comes to the bedroom scenes, oh do they heat it up! This was a fantastic listen and I highly recommend the audiobook!

Absolute perfection!

I know it's January but hear me out. The Best Men was my most anticipated book of 2022. The thought of two of my all time favorite, one click no matter what, authors writing a book together??? Talk about a dream come true!!!!! I cannot rave about this book or recommend it enough. This story had everything-amazing banter, off the chart heat, and full to the brim with emotion. I was hooked from the first line and I KNOW you will be too.

I get Mark Banks. Completely, totally, 100% understand this man. I adored the way he tackled tasks-and let's just say a certain spreadsheet had me grinning like a fool. He's loyal, kind, determined and sexy as all get out when given the opportunity. I fell in love with him right from the start and LOVED watching him grow throughout the book.

Ah, Asher. I had the pleasure of meeting Asher before in both Sarina Bowen's work and in an earlier Lauren Blakely release. That's what set my spidey senses tingling...and hoping for a collab between these two. But anyway, back to Asher. Asher is the total opposite of Mark. He's an open book in a sense. He's a little more scattered than Mark, though he tries hard not to be. Sexy as sin, funny as hell with a sweet side to boot. That's Asher to me. I loved getting to know more of him in this book-there were so many moments he made me sigh.

When you put these two together you'd think they'd be oil and water-and you couldn't be more wrong. These two are more like a powder keg and a match! There's an undercurrent between these two that is palpable from the start. Their first kiss? INCREDIBLE and so perfect for them. (I have a thing for first kisses lol) Watching these two discover each other and understand each other outside of the bedroom was amazing and so well done. But their sexy times??? Off. The. Charts.

The writing here just took me away to another world. I was right there with Mark and Asher (no complaints there LOL) and I loved every moment of it. The supporting characters here were so relatable (well, aside from Flip's parents) to me. Like Mr. and Mrs. Banks could be my mom and dad-or any of my friend's parents. I loved the relationship between Mark/Hannah/Asher/Flip. The dynamics there hit just right. I also loved Rosie. There are lots of people who introduce child characters and then just kind of put them on the back burner. That's not the case here. I loved seeing how all of these people interacted with Mark and Asher.

Now I was VERY lucky to also have an early audio copy of this. If you're a fan of audiobooks GET this. If you're not sure you'd enjoy an audiobook?? GET THIS. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan truly bring these characters to life. I'm going to confess that I have already relistened to this...twice. It's that good. The nuances they bring to these characters showcase why they are two of my all time favorite narrators.

Run, do not walk, run to get your copy of The Best Men!! These men stole my heart from the very first line. This story is perfection from start to finish and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This isn't just my favorite book of the month-it's one of my favorite books I have EVER read.

Opposites do attract!

Oh where do I begin?
Two amazing (mm) romance novelists? Check!
Teddy Hamilton AND Jacob Morgan? Check and yes Check!

Drunk texting, father/daughter relationship, divorced coparenting, Miami wedding set, and a transatlantic romance... Oh God this book has it all, in addition to way more sex than I'm used to in a mm book by Sarina alone.

I'm in love with Mark and Asher. I love the two narrators. I love the juxtaposition between the two MCs. And I love the supporting characters that do/say/think what we're thinking as a reader.

I can't wait to read this again!

Total swoon!

I am a sucker for a sexy opposites attract love story and this one hit me right in the feels. The straight-laced, somewhat stuffy, numbers-driven, single dad, stock trader Mark Banks, knows he is bisexual but has little to no experience with men and is freshly divorced from his wife so not looking for a relationship. Enter the smokin’ hot, former pro soccer player turned photographer, spontaneous and out and proud Asher St. James. Throw them together to serve as the best men for Mark’s sister and Asher’s best friend’s wedding and you have the recipe for a super steamy, unexpected, and totally perfect start to a beautiful romance. Lauren Blakely and Sarina Bowen collaborated so seamlessly that I need them to keep writing together whenever possible! Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are absolute perfection in these roles and brought the bossiness and vulnerability in equal measure that these two characters demanded. Bravo and well done to everyone involved with this audiobook. I am in love!

Spreadsheets for the #win

Equal parts sexy and swoony, the journey of Asher and Mark is a good time wrapped in the biggest cocoon of heart and #feels that will come at you from all sides in a delightfully unexpected way!

I wasn’t prepared. I didn’t see it coming. These two men stole my heart and soul and a little bit of my mind with their journey. It was deeply emotional but not sad in any way. It was uplifting and hopeful. It was big. I just … it was love.

Teddy Hamilton & Jacob Morgan's performance was one of the best I've had the pleasure of listening to by these two men! They enhanced Mark & Asher's journey significantly. They made it funnier and swoonier and I felt it even deeper in my heart. I often read early review copies since I'm a blogger and then when the audio comes out I jump on it, especially with a Lauren Blakely title and this was one of those times. Most times, if I loved a story, I still love it when I listened to it, as is this case, but I loved it MORE. The audio magnified everything I loved about this journey! Well done Teddy & Jacob!

and everything about these two men became significantly more. They were funnier and swoonier and I just felt this story so much deeper that I can't explain. Just damn ... *heart eyes*

An Opposites Attract Story

Two men, total opposites, one a Wall Street trader who lives by his spreadsheets and the other an ex athlete now a successful photographer, one in the middle of a divorce and financially getting by and the other a rich playboy. On paper they shouldn’t work but after being introduced for the first time the chemistry was instant.

Mark was worried about his sisters quick engagement and pregnancy and didn’t want her to make the same mistakes he made he also didn’t want to admit his attraction to the confident outgoing Asher. After getting blind drunk and sending a series of texts to his sister about his misgivings and derogatory remarks about Asher he wakes to find his sister had set up a group text for the wedding and he had sent his texts to the groom and Asher as well and he had to go to the engagement party and grovel.

Mark and Asher were the best men and had to spend a week together in Miami setting up everything for the wedding before the guests arrived. Mark is dreading it, Asher is having fun at his and his spreadsheets expense but it turns out there are a lot of things you can put into a spreadsheet.

The book was enjoyable but at times I thought the plot dragged and could have been wrapped up a bit sooner.

Kings of mm narration at it again

I love Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. If there names are stamped on an audiobook I am there without knowing the plot.
This book however was on my Jan anticipated reads/listen list and it didn’t disappoint. Whilst the story at the start was a bit of a slow burn, the relationship between Mark and Asher was worth the wait.
Mark is everything Asher is not. A methodical, strategic, single dad banker vs laid back, kind of a hot mess, ex pro footballer turned photographer but opposites attract right?
Agreeing to check out the wedding plans a week before Marks sister is due to get married, Ash and Mark travel to Miami where the sexual tension and attraction is unbearable. So what are two guys who find themselves drawn to one another meant to do? Holiday romance time.
Teddy and Jacobs voices were epic as always, add speaking French into the mix and ooo mumma you’ve got yourself an audiobook. Both men delivered their respective characters beautifully. I loved Teddy as single dad Mark and Jacob as Asher, and together they brought the story to life.
Great work by all parties involved. Cannot wait for the next.

Delightful and Spicy

The Best Men by Sarina Bowen and Lauren Blakely was completely delightful and full of spicy scenes. Mark and Asher are reluctant partners in crime, not quite enemies, but definitely not friends, while they prepare for the wedding of Mark's sister and Asher's best friend. I was a little nervous going into this book, because Sarina and Lauren have not written together before, but I think since I went in without expectations it truly blew me away. Narrated by my favorite M/M duo Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan, they brought humor and heat to these characters. The story gave me everything I wanted, good character development, tons of heat, but also time after they get together to see how their lives did and did not fit together. If you are a fan of Sarina Bowen or Lauren Blakely, and enjoy M/M then you will enjoy this new addition to the collection.

I received an ALC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

5 “Intexticated” Stars

Oh wow! Two of my favourite authors writing together for the first time, and, one of my favourite genres no less. M/M - and just to make my reading experience even better, the audio version is narrated by two of my favourite people - Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan. I was in audio heaven. A completely feel good, fun, enemies to lovers m/m romance. It actually finishes with a warning - please take care when texting when intoxicated (intexticated), this is also how the story begins, with Mark drunk texting his sister, unbeknownst to him in a group chat, and it just gets better and better. After dissing his sister’s husband to be, and the other best man, Asher St James, he starts his apologies, only to then find out he’s going be spending his holiday planning the wedding with, non other than, said best man. Fantabulous characters, including Mark’s adorable daughter Rosie, so cute. The chemistry - white hot! Hence, there’s lots of sexy time. They are so good together. Opposites most definitely attract. If I could give a book 10 stars, this would be it. I alternated between reading the written word and listening to the awesome audio. Loved both versions. Now to get the paperback 😉

Fun and feely and a whole lot steamy!

Well, this is the first time these two ladies have written together and it was a complete success. This is a funny but a little feely and a whole lot steamy MM romance.

Mark and Asher are both the best men at their sister and best friend’s wedding. The start off all prickly with insults flying all over the place but end up completely and utterly in love with some seriously spicy heat.

They are tasked with working together to make sure that Hannah and Flip’s wedding goes off without a hitch. They run plenty of errands and a few “extras” too. Mark is the geeky numbers guy and Asher is the gorgeous ex-soccer player, now professional photographer. The book is full of LOL moments, but when they start catching feelings it gives us so much more than just the humour. These guys have their own insecurities and they throw them aside for a few days of fun between the sheets working through Mark’s spreadsheet, and what a fun spreadsheet that is! BUT when the feelings start to grow, so do the insecurities and inevitably they have to work a little harder for their HEA.

Sarina and Lauren’s writing merged seamlessly, giving us a cohesive story with loveable characters. Jacob is the devastatingly gorgeous Asher, playing the cocky playboy so well at the start, morphing into a slightly insecure wannabe boyfriend. He easily transitions into the selfless partner at the end of the book and as always is a delight to the ears. Teddy is the nerdy Mark and surprised me with his inner go-getter. He is working through that spreadsheet one cell at a time and loving each and every one. Teddy shows us how Mark really comes into his own and is ready to take their fling to the next level. Both narrators do a fantastic job and are the perfect pairing for Mark and Asher. A crowd pleaser in the romance audiobook world #jeddy

I hope this is the start of a beautiful writing partnership for these ladies as I would love to read more of their joint projects in the future. With Sarina, Lauren, Jacob and Teddy working together this was most definitely a top notch audiobook.

These two are hilarious together. Love their story and their family and friends. I love how much they fault their sexual tension to when it all fell apart. To cool 😎 Teddy and Jacob did a brilliant job bringing this story to life. Perfect 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
