Great to listen to in short bursts

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's got a little something for everyone, and none of the stories are too long so even if it's not totally your thing, it's enough to intrigue you for a few minutes. Some of them surprised me.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it showed me different ways of approaching orgasms. I thought it was pretty much a done deal but these stories gave me new things to think about, and one or two I might want to try.

What about Rose Caraway’s performance did you like?

Rose made every story sound luscious. Even ones I was about to skip I kept listening because her voice just made me want to hear what happened.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, because there are so many stories. I listened to a few each night, and then some during the day if I had time and was in the mood. It's more of one where you pick and choose what you're in the mood to hear, since some are more funny, some are wicked.

Any additional comments?

I loved that I got to hear male and female characters talking about what turns them on in these stories.

i prefer my stories on the longer side, but this makes up for it in volume. another great anthology

Perfect for erotica newbies

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Because it's not off-putting. It eases you into the sexy stuff, which was perfect for me as pretty much a newcomer to erotica. Yes, some are pretty filthy (in a good way), but others are more lighthearted but still sexy.

What other book might you compare The Big Book of Orgasms to and why?

Nothing I can think of because this is all pretty new to me.

I've listened to her podcast, so if you like that, you will probably like this.

69 flavors--and then some

I liked Blue Jean Baby, about a woman walking around commando in blue jeans in public. Not sure if I would try it myself, but it is one I've definitely thought about when I've tried on jeans, and may have nudged me into getting ones a little tighter than I would normally get.

Good but not great

Some of the stories leave you wanting more, while others have you wishing they would end sooner. Overall, it kept my interest and certainly gave me some food for thought!

Extra sexy

I was looking for an audiobook that would get me in the mood and this one did it in a big way! Rose's voice was the perfect sultry tone that I just closed my eyes and let myself get swept away. I liked that some of these were super sweet about longtime couples and others were about total strangers. I listened to these with my boyfriend and we even got some ideas to try but mostly they a way to simply feel sexy as I pictured what was happening.

Sexy, Short and Sultry

Would you listen to The Big Book of Orgasms again? Why?

Yes, definitely. They are short enough that I didn't get bored and are easy to listen to a few at a time. There are a few I plan to replay for my partner and listen together.

What other book might you compare The Big Book of Orgasms to and why?

Gotta Have It and Frenzy, because all feature very short but hot stories.

Which scene was your favorite?

I liked the sensualness of "The Massage" (who wouldn't want a massage like that?), "Steamy" and the movie theater setting of "Matinee" and "Meeting Cute." Also "Squirt" was very hot. It's hard to pick a favorite but I liked that each one offered a little something different, some super down and dirty and some cuter.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It turned me on and at times made me laugh, especially "Remote Control," a genderbending, outrageous and over the top sexy story that is worthy of a comedy show. "Me Vengo" was also pretty amusing.

Any additional comments?

Rose Caraway is a wonderful narrator whose voice I could listen to reading just about anything. She gives her all to each and every story and even though they're short, she makes you feel like you don't want them to end.

Not a single word wasted

If you could sum up The Big Book of Orgasms in three words, what would they be?

Hot, fun, surprising

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Big Book of Orgasms?

The remote control story, because I had no idea where it was going or what would happen next.

What does Rose Caraway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She makes even an innocent line drip with innuendo, so when she does get to the sexy parts, it's all the hotter. It's an entirely different experience than simply reading the book, not only because my own voice isn't all that great, but hearing Rose made me consider parts of the stories I hadn't considered before.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, because there were ones I wanted to listen to again and a few I was happy to just listen to once. They are so short that listening to more than 10 at a time for me was a bit of overkill but they are perfect nighttime listening to get you in the mood.

Any additional comments?

Definitely a keeper, and took orgasms, which you'd think would be a dime a dozen in erotica, and made them the focal point without seeming like "are we there yet?" Some of these stories I'd have been happy to keep listening to find out what happens next!

Hot Erotica for those who enjoy the genre

If you could sum up The Big Book of Orgasms in three words, what would they be?

Exciting, Stimulating, Different.

What did you like best about this story?

I usually enjoy all erotica, GAY, Straight, Kinky, BDSM, it is what stimulates the mind and gets people off. Erotica, like any other fiction is written to entertain and stimulate. (The reader doesn't have to love every story) However if you are an individual who enjoys your own sexuality, then you should be able to understand and enjoy anyone who expresses their desires no matter how different or strange, (consenting adults). Yes there is roll play, and play with toys and some homosexuality. These are stories about the Big O. How people get them and give them. I found every story a delight.

Have you listened to any of Rose Caraway’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I only heard Rose Caraway one other time and she is a wonderful narrator, even when talking from a man's point of view.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When you have so many stories I know I can't pick one. I found it well worth the cost for the over 8 hours of entertainment.

I've listened to many of Rachel Kramer Bussel's anthologies. She knows how to pick stories that will work, I always look for books by Rachel Kramer Bussel, or Alison Tyler, Violet Blue, Delilah Devlin. Especially when putting together anthologies. They are also great writers, and ofter end up in many of these anthologies. GIVE US MORE.

What made the experience of listening to The Big Book of Orgasms the most enjoyable is the very wide variety stories. We loved that it touched on so many different ways to enjoy sexual contact.

What did you like best about this story?

The story Remote Control. Who hasn't wanted to trade places with your lover? Very creative and fun.

Yes, I'm a fan of her podcast. My wife and I love everything she does.

Ohh-Yess.But it wasn't' laughing or crying, if you know what I mean.

Rachel Kramer Bussel did an excellent job of putting together a terrific group of sexy stories. I'm thinking I'm going to go get Rose Caraway and Rachel's other collaboration, 69 stories of sudden sex with my next credit.
