Publisher's Summary

In the aftermath of a mission on American soil that left covert operative Chase Fulton and his elite team of tier-one operators battle weary, severely injured, and questioning why and how another American team could’ve become so corrupted, they each find themselves examining what makes them not only willing, but yearning to lick their wounds, pick up their weapons, and return to the battlefield.

Believing they may never find the answers they so agonizingly longed for, the team is left more cautious than ever, strengthening the unspoken bond that weaves them so tightly together, until they’re barely able to imagine themselves without the remaining members of their team. An outsider burning with the lust to right the horrific wrongs of men he once trusted turns to Chase’s team in desperation, but un-ringing the bells of the past proves to be not only impossible, but also potentially catastrophic to the team.

Amidst the tumultuous waters of closing the wounds cut by men of greed, dishonor, and treason, Chase is handed a mission he and the team could’ve never imagined possible. The very freedoms on which the country was founded hangs in the balances of justice with the clock ticking and the team waging war against an invisible enemy on a limitless battlefield. Never before has so much rested in the hands of Chase Fulton and his team, and this time, they’re flying blind against an enemy, the likes of which none of them have ever faced before.

Feel the tension, taste the desperation, and experience the roar of battle like only Cap Daniels can deliver in this heart-pounding thriller, where the impossible becomes the inevitable.

I love Chase and Cap

I love the adventures of Chase and team. The way Cap tells the story with humor, excitement, emotions and without vulgarity is refreshing. I have read some of these books in print, but prefer the Audible version, PJ does A GREAT job. Love his voices and inflections. Looking forward to The Smuggler Chase. Thank you and thank God for y'alls talent.

This one has the most amount of humor so far

I really liked the novel, the jokes that the characters played on each other was actually really funny. But my favorite part was the author's note, and what to do. Thank you again Cap for the entertainment

Why can’t he write these faster?

I’m only slightly kidding. I’ve been through all 16 in the Chase Fulton series. They’re clean, entertaining, and well written. The characters grow on you, and you feel like you’re a part of their adventure and team when you listen. They’re also well read and performed. I’m generally always just searching around for other stuff while I wait for a new one in this series to come out. I have over 700 books on Audible and I’ve written maybe 4-5 reviews. So, I think I speak from experience, at least on the consumption side, and I’m not one for superfluous accolades. These are really enjoyable. Do yourself the favor of starting from the beginning.

Another master piece by Cap

Cap’s book are always a great or a great tale to listen to. Wonderful mix of fun and adventure. I’m also a big fan of the A6. Maybe you work the A10 into one of your stories. Can wait for the next one.

Perfection once again

I can't say I'm surprised that once again Cap Daniels has held me in suspense from the opening credits to the last word. Once again there are enjoyable side stories in conjunction with the main plot.
I have to say my favorite part is how Cap tends to take a side character from an earlier story and brings them to the forefront without overshadowing then main characters. P.J. Ochlan does a wonderful job with the multitude of characters. his ability to seperate the characters without having to be overly directive showes his true talent.
May there always be wind for your sails Cap.
