Unusual plot

Loved the unusual plot and found I became immersed in it after the first few pages. The English accent of the time was done perfectly and the voices of the other characters good.

Good story

Loved the story ,which I read as a book many years ago, but not so keen on the narration. Found the "speaking voice" of the male" characters a bit grating. But an easy listen whilst pottering around
