Not a Bible at all, Commonsense manuscript

For one the narrator is like listening to siri or alexa for 4 hours reading. Cannot even pronounce bodybuilding correctly which drove me nuts. Then the content is basic commonsense aspects of working out. If your expecting this book to break down certain kinds of exercises, sets, reps, and why you do or do not want to do them this is not the right book. Extremely disappointed I wasted a credit on this book. if you haven't ever worked out in your life and are curious about working out then this is probably a decent book. For anyone who has done research on work outs and consistent gym goer then would totally pass on this book.

How Do You Measure Your Progress

Set a target of how much extra weight you would like to be able to lift in the coming months. Track how much extra weight you are strong enough to lift every month, and if you see you’ve gone from lifting 50kg to 52kg for example, then that’s a big improvement.

New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding

I found this audiobook to be interesting, informative and practical. This audiobook gives me the background I needed in terms of how my body processes food and turns it into energy and how leftover energy or calories gets turned into fat. The bottom line is that the audiobook lays out the basics for men who are interested in improving the shape of their body.

Bad ass body building book!

Got this for my male friend as a gift and he loves it! He likes audiobook because he can listen to it while he is at the gym. The book covers both nutrition and exercises. Since it's an audiobook, the training exercises would make more sense if you are somewhat familiar with the basic instrument at the gym and exercise workouts.

Great information!

I’ve got RA and Sjogrens Syndrome. Eating the right foods is important to keep the side effects too minimum. I found several tips to help. Plus there was great information on low level exercises. Perfect for someone who can’t do as much as I did in my youth. Great work.

Terrible narration, mediocre book

The narration is quite uninspired and filled with bad pronunciation. Also, there are even segments where the same sentence is said twice.

The book itself is just a list of what you need to do, with little depth of explanation why. This could be what you want but wasn't what I wanted. It is very practical, also going into stuff like cost of eating, which is good.
