But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she's carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush's attention, she'll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice, even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

Story
I crawled into Ryan Jensen’s bed that first night by accident. I barely knew him. I thought it was his sister’s bed - her room. It took seconds to realize my error, and I should've left... I didn’t. I didn’t jump out. I didn’t get embarrassed. I relaxed. And that night, in that moment, it was the only thing I craved. I asked to stay. He let me, and I slept. The truth? I never wanted to leave his bed. If I could've stayed forever, I would have. He became my sanctuary. Because - four hours earlier - my twin sister killed herself.

He told me to settle. He asked what was wrong with me. He called me an easy target. That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks. I labeled him an asshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha. He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother's fraternity brother. Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.

Roan King. The uncrowned king of Barnett University. He's like a freaking celebrity around here. It's totally ridiculous. People, by which I mean grown women, actually stalk him on the internet. And around campus. Apparently, he's God's gift to both football and the ladies (I'm using that term loosely). All he has to do is smile, and girls fall right onto their backs before spreading their legs wide. I've heard that he's already plowed his way through half the female population at Barnett.

It all started with an anonymous letter. He wasn’t supposed to find it - no one was. And he definitely wasn’t supposed to answer it. We end up talking through letters and sticky notes in a book. All baring our darkest, deepest secrets. It’s all fun and games until I find out who my pen pal is...Xavier Emery. King of my basketball-obsessed town, my childhood bully, and the guy I am in grave danger of falling in love with. Jilted by my fiancé. A disappointment to my family. Haunted by my childhood traumas. I felt so much all my life that I resolved to feeling nothing at all. Until I met my match. As the most infamous mafioso of the 21st century, Dante Salvatore was madly passionate, unequivocally bad, and entirely too dangerous to know. He was everything I abhorred, yet I found myself representing him in the biggest criminal trial of the decade. I was so focused on winning and achieving the success I deserved that I didn't notice the gorgeous, black-eyed man's effect on me until it was too late.

BRIAR - I was infatuated with Asher Kelley the moment he came tumbling through my brother’s window five years ago. Even bruised and bloodied, he was the most beautiful boy I'd ever seen. We couldn't ever be together. I was too young, and he was too untouchable. He was too troubled, and I was too naive. ASHER - I was drawn to Briar Vale from the first time she looked up at me with stars in her blue eyes. We could never be together. I was too old and she was too off limits....

I have loved Channing Monroe all my life. In first grade, he asked for my Trapper Keeper. I hit him in the head with it. Third grade, we were best friends. We kissed in seventh grade. In eighth grade, he turned into a bad boy and the rest was a tumultuous storm. Growing up, the problem was never love for us. Bad times. Good times. There were times when I felt our love in every inch of my body, vibrating, making me feel like it could bring me back to life. The problem was us. The problem is that we're living in two different worlds now. Fallen Crest and its millionaires for me.

What's worse than having Rider Kingston, the star quarterback, give you the big brushoff because he doesn't want to get serious? You'd probably think living across the street from him where you get a firsthand view of his hookups, right? That's what I thought. Until someone drops off a baby with a note pinned to her blanket that says one of those jocks - either Rider or one of his roommates - is the father. The problem? Baby mama doesn't mention which of these numbskulls is the sperm donor. I wouldn't care about their paternity problems - except my brother lives there too.

Semi YA/adult romance with dark undertone
The Boy Who Sneaks in my Bedroom Window is a love story held by an undertone of darkness. This is not a typical high school romance. Please don't misunderstand the book does have a really sweet love story, but it's so much more than that. This book will drag some strong emotions out of you. It dives into some really uncomfortable & devastating subject matter. This story follows Amber, a teenager who suffered severe child abuse when she was young. When she was eight years old, Liam saw Amber crying and sneaked into her bedroom to comfort her. Liam is the neighbor boy & Amber's brothers best friend. After that night, Liam has constantly been sneaking into Amber's bedroom to sleep with her. The story follows the relationship between the two love birds and how Amber struggle to fight her past demons. Anyway, good story, good characters and recommended to all semi-YA/adult readers who enjoy a little heartache mixed with their romance.

Wow... so much better than I expected!
I loved this book. From the start it is a little tough to listen to as it starts out with eight year old Amber and her ten year old brother Jake, revealing the horor of the abuse they suffered via their very Loathsome father. But once chapter two came I was hooked. The love story between Amber and Liam is so sweet and sexy I was shocked, especially with this type of book. But Liam is really the most praise-worthy boyfriend their is, and I do agree with another reviewer... so much so that it must be fiction. I didn't care though, . Amber is a little clueless at times and naive , but she is only sixteen, so I didn't have much reservations with her flaws. Seriously though, although there were indeed dark elements to this story, the love story was the best part of this book for me. Another pleasant factor in this book, is that there is no explicit sex scenes as in so many of the YA novels nowadays. The narators did a fantastic job. I think this writer shows good promise, though I wasn't blown away with the riting in a whole. All and all I can't wait to see another of Kursty Moseley's books on Audible. Definitely credit worthy if you like this type of story.

Liam is so perfect, it must be fiction ...
The story is completely romantic... Liam is the absolute perfect boy friend that Amanda needs. Some of the writing was hard to believe and predictable. All the characters were great, just the story lines need to be developed more.
I am so happy I downloaded the audio version rather than buy the ebook as Leah Mallach and Sean Crisden brought the characters to life and made you completely invested in what happened to each of them. Without that the book would not have been so entertaining.

YA TO THE CORE
I became interested in this book as a result of the glowingly high recommendations it has received on various blog sites. I have to admit, my expectations were through the roof by the time the release date rolled around. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a mistake on my part. The premise had me all geared up for a heart tugging struggle to connect emotionally after surviving an abusive home. I ended up feeling a little cheated, I mean life struggle generally matures people… doesn't it? I suppose I’m trying to say it was almost "too" YA in context for me to really enjoy. Seriously, there's a lot of skipping. Tough angry older brothers should NOT be skipping anywhere. Several phrases were over used to the point that midway through I had the absurd impulse to keep a tally as if there were a word use contest going on. I mention these little nit-picky specifics, because when you combine them they somehow manage to noticeably detract from the story. Let me be clear, for a self-publish author this book was very very well done. Though it showed up late in the story, I was totally into the Liam insight as the alternate male perspective. The performance makes it worth the credit. For me at least, it only makes the one-time listen list.

I love the premise of this story!
The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎧🎧🎧
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎🌏
Character development: 😁☺️🤬🥵
The heroine: Amber - When she was young, her Dad got a new job and changed completely. He was physically and sexually abusive which colored her world for years to come, even long after he was gone.
The Hero(s): Liam - The bad boy of the school, best friends with Ambers brother Jake. Jake and Liam are hockey players and they are the guys who all other guys want to be and all the girls want to be with. Many of the girls have.
The Story: One night when Liam was outside, he sees young Amber crying in her room and climbs in the window to comfort her. They fall asleep and in then morning, Liam crawls back out the window and into his own. The same happened the following night and the night after that. Fast forward eight years and they have rarely spent a night apart and neither is able to sleep alone.
Though Amber and Liam spend every night holding each other, they don’t get along at all during the daylight hours. Amber sees Liam as a player and an STD waiting to happen, her brothers best friend and the guy that lives to torment her. Nothing sexual had ever happened between them. She thinks maybe Liam has a dual personality and categorizes him as day Liam (cocky arrogant jerk) and night Liam (the guy that comforts her and keeps her nightmares at bay).
This is a re-read for me and I loved the book when I read it years ago. Now, after 1500+ books in between, I saw it a bit differently. The beginning of the book was so immature I almost stopped listening. I could really tell this was her first book. Some of the scenes were beyond belief. Like when Amber is totally amazed Liam remembers her McDonalds order and in the next second we find out that she gets the same thing every time and that the three of them had been to McDonalds together hundreds of times in the past.
Another example is when Liam touching her sends her into a tailspin at one point and then her inner commentary reflects on the fact that she hates to be touched by anyone other than her brother, her mother and Liam. The book did get much better as it went along and I still liked it quite a lot, just not quite as much as I did the first time around. Though, I think I just love the thought about two kids sleeping together innocently every night and eventually falling in love. I also liked how sweet and protective Liam is over Amber.
As for the narration, I didn’t like the female narrator (Leah Mallach) because Amber is supposed to be 16 years old and I would have liked a voice that fit that age a bit better. I know that narration isn’t acting and if you just listen to audiobooks to have someone read the book to you out loud, then she did a good job. However, for me I like the voices to match the characters.

I wanted to throw myself out the window
Where do I begin. This story was so unbelievable and utterly mind boggling. Amber and Liam were just annoying and kept being repetitive in what they said. Jake her brother had no depth or story line. Her mother wasn't a mother and her father was a pedophile who they allowed to get away with molesting his daughter and beating his wife and kids. If you decide to listen to this book may I suggest that you make a drinking game out of it. Everytime you hear corny one liners, role your eyes, massage your temple, or hear them say one of those repetitive phrases... take a shot. I promise by the 3 chapter you will be drunk enough to listen to the rest of this book blissed out on numbness. Seriously it is NOT worth the listen.

I've read this book many times over the years so was looking forward to listening to the audio version and wasn't disappointed.
Sean Crisden & Leah Mallach did a great job of bringing the story to life and were exactly how I imagine Amber and Liam.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Boy Who Sneaks in My Bedroom Window?
for me its when the are dancing at a party at her house
What about Sean Crisden and Leah Mallach ’s performance did you like?
Leah did a great job her voice really suited this book but i did think that Sean sound too old for the male roll and a bit monotoned for me

Don't waste your credit like I did!!!
I honestly could not finish this book. I think I was written by a teenager for teenagers even though it has grown up "bits" in it. It is a shame that I couldn't return it but trust me... Don't buy it.

A sweet love story
This was a good audio just not amazing the relationships were sweet but I just like something a little darker (that's just me and my sick mind I guess) I did enjoy it but was not the story I thought it would be.

Lovely romance
The topic was quite gritty and could be a trigger for anyone that has suffered abuse at home. I have read some of Kirstys books and enjoyed them so I had high expectations with this and I wasn't disappointed.
The life long romance was just beautiful. The story was refreshingly different in that the couple was strong and it was outside influences that caused the drama. It can be quite tedious to listen and read many romances where the couple have a huge misunderstanding break up then get back together bla, bla, bla...
The characters in this were level headed and so likeable.
Narrated very well, Leah has a fabulous voice to listen to, I'd say she's my favourite narrator thus far and I've listened to over 100 books this year so far.

it has triggers and is very emotional
I was really able to connect with the characters in the story, it was narrated well, I could easily follow the storyline. their story had so many ups and downs I felt like I was on an emotional rollercoaster, there were lots of twist some you saw coming others you didn't. enjoy listening to this story, I stayed awake well into the early hours of the morning just to hear the ending.
