Story a young man's life without & then with Jesus

This is such a wonderfully amazing story that gives insight into the days when Jesus was on earth. I read the Bible & have heard these stories but this book paints a beautiful picture of a young man's meeting Jesus & then (eventually, at the end of the book) loving & following him. The Bronze Bow gives a fresh perspective on the timeless story of Jesus Christ. He lived & died for all of us (by the way). Reading about the relationship between him & someone like me in a story like this was beautiful.

Terrible, flat, robotic narration

What a tone-less narration. My children and I have only just begun reading/listening to this book which I have been told is an absolutely wonderful story, but I had to come here to address the narration. The narrator reads with absolutely zero emotion or intonation. I might as well be listening to audio instructions for how to install a microwave. Listening to Siri read this to us might do better credit to the story. Heck, I’LL NARRATE IT FOR FREE just to help other families out. Audible, give me a call and let’s set it up.

Great, engaging story

My 12-year old was assigned this book for school so I joined him on his literary journey. These are his words, "This is such a good book. The story takes off so fast and the main character has an adventure with hatred and love. The ending is super good!" I concur.

Good book, bad performance

I know I love this book because I’ve read I’d before as a teenager and it became a top favorite of mine. I decided to relisten to the book on my commute to/from work and the performance it terrible. I listen to a lot of Audible and this by far is one of the worst performances I’be heard. He didn’t pronounce the names of places correctly, people’s names were misspoken or read multiple ways, and he was overall a mixture monotone or oddly overexcited. Elizabeth George Speare is an amazing author and this book is better read in this circumstance!
