Mostly tips on engaging skeptics, not much on actual evidences.

The majority of the book is just on how to engage skeptics and what claims they might make and how to rebuttal them. I was a little disappointed because I was hoping for more insight on hard evidences when it basically just gave 2 or 3 chapters on the evidence, which isn’t as persuasive as I was hoping. I’m a Christian but it didn’t really improve my testimony as much as I hoped. The evidence given was basically that scholars agree Jesus was crucified, that his body really was missing, and that the apostles who wrote the gospels truly believed Jesus was resurrected. Then for the next 90% of the book he explains skeptics objections and why they’re wrong. Still a good book but if you’re just looking for evidence of Christ’s resurrection, this might not be the book for you.

Best argument I've ever heard for the Resurrection

Provides the most convincing secular, historic and geological evidence proving Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.

Pretty convincing, but not quite enough.

The book is interesting and well written, but a deeper understanding reveals logical flaws.

The narrator was easy to understand.

The details and logic were believable. Jesus is believable. I enjoyed the book which had a good flow.

An essential too For witnessing to skeptics

I found this extremely helpful in focusing on extrabiblical historical evidence for the resurrection. It answers the question how do I witness to someone who doesn’t believe that the Bible is true. I’m going to listen to it again while cycling lots of good tools lots of good points and approaches without overwhelming the person and reasoning together in love and not arrogance

Excellent resource in Christian Apologetics

The authors lay out a lot of facts and even go into details that some might not expect. It gives a lot of information, so anyone new to these arguments may want to take their time going through it and perhaps reread (or listen to) it. At the end there are also a lot of helpful tips for sharing this information with nonbelievers warnings about getting off track in the discussion and communicating these truths with the right heart.

This is a great resource, I highly recommend it!

I’m a new habbarmas/licona fan

I kept hearing about habbarmas in the books by J Warner Wallace and Lee Strobel. After listening to this book—it was so good— that I want to look up more by Habbarmas and Licona

Evidence a Skeptic Can Respect

The authors rightly understand that the circular reasoning of using the Bible to prove the Bible will not be accepted by people who don't believe in the Bible. He uses rational, scientific, and historically verifiable evidence to support the resurrection instead of blind faith.

This book doesn't judge you for questioning your faith. In fact, it encourages you to acknowledge valid questions and come to an understanding for yourself.

This is a good listen for anyone experiencing a crisis of faith, needing to get better at explaining their faith, or skeptical with an open mind.

This is a longer book with a lot of information, but it doesn't waste space with fluff. It makes you use your brain and provides plenty of resources for further study. As a bonus, they conclude with practical tips for how to share this information without being a self-righteous jerk.

The Case for the Resurrection was well worth the credit. I'm sure I'll be referring back to this over and over again.
