Pick up this epic space-opera adventure today and prepare yourself for sleepless nights, because as the fans of the series will tell you, these books are very hard to put down!

The box set includes:

Book one: The Crimson Deathbringer

When Earth gets embroiled in the middle of an intergalactic war, humanity's only hope for survival rests with a rag-tag team of unlikely heroes which includes an ace fighter pilot, a stuntwoman, a super-assassin, and an alien prankster.

Jim, a wise-cracking, OCD-suffering fighter pilot, is about to propose to his girlfriend when his friend Kurt surprises them by showing up at his house, wounded and covered in blood. This is just the beginning of Jim's woes because soon after his life is thrown into a galactic conflict that threatens the very existence of the human race.

Can our heroes save humanity from the wrath of a galaxy-conquering alien fleet?

Book two: The Golden Viper

Will the galaxy survive?

Kanoor has fallen.

The Xortaags are back with a vengeance. Not being the forgive-and-forget types, they’ve conquered the Akakie homeworld, and now they set their sight upon Earth. Having reverse-engineered the advanced technology they scavenged on Kanoor, they now hold the key to rule the universe forever. It now befalls to Jim and his friends to save not only humanity, but every sentient species in the galaxy.

To make matters worse, an even more sinister threat is looming in the darkness. Unknown to our heroes, a time-traveling alien fleet is on its way to our neck of the galactic woods.

You thought the stakes were high during the first human-Akakie-Xortaag intergalactic war? You ain’t seen nothing yet!

Book three: The Black Fleet

Just when you thought things couldn't get any deadlier, a massive fleet arrives from the future!

Thanks to Jim and his allies' efforts, there's finally peace in the galaxy...but all good things must come to an end.

The Black Fleet, hellbent on revenge, will indiscriminately ravage every planet on its way to Earth. This is the very definition of an extinction-level event, and nobody seems to able to stop the enemy ships in their tracks. To make matters worse, the Akakies are willing to sacrifice Earth to save their own species.

Having defied the odds a few times already, it again falls onto Jim and his friends to save the day, but can he counter such a universe-ending threat? And if he does, at what cost?

Fantastic Series!

First let me start out by saying narrator ruled! Brought me right into the world! The author respects prior canon of major and minor Sci-fi series. Everything in his universe is believable and operates as expected.his characters are rich and human even when they are not from our world. Thank you for enjoyable series. I can’t wait to get into book 7!.

Si-Fi Adventure book1-3

This Author has Created a detailed near-future universe in this captivating series. The evolving and engaging characters are relatable, likeable, lifelike and flawed. I laughed with them and was saddened when some were lost. This clever adventure is fast-paced with many twists and turns, conflicts, intrigue and lots of space battle sequences.

Entertaining and clean

The author can pin a story, keep up with the characters, and keep up with an extremely complex plot without getting mixed up. The narrator has different invoices for each character and follows the same voice throughout each book for each character. The narrator is also not rushed and puts a lot of emotion into the characters. This was a very enjoyable book series. Highly recommended.

Great book, very memorable, great characters and plot. Moves along but covers their history together and moves right along.
Instead of just getting to know the Main group, like most books, you get to see 3 sides. Real good. Will start the other books soon. TKS I got a free copy of this book.

Awesome Sci-Fi Adventure!

Sean Robins has constructed a wonderfully detailed near-future universe in which this captivating series takes place. The evolving and engaging characters are relatable, likeable, lifelike, and flawed. I laughed with them and was saddened when some were lost. This clever adventure is fast-paced with many twists and turns, conflicts, intrigue and lots of battle sequences. The story is artfully crafted with palpable suspense as well as light-hearted mischievous humor. I look forward to the next book in the series. The performance by C.J. Grey is exceptional. His deep voice is rich with plenty of modulation and variation to differentiate the characters and express their emotions. I was provided a free review copy of this audiobook and an voluntarily leaving this review.

Space Opera with Earth Invasion - Humorous Protago

I don't read many space operas. The Science Fiction I read is more traditional time travel or Orson Scott Card, or Dune type books. This book didn't make me suddenly like the space opera genre.

If you love space operas with a humorous stereotypical white male hero you will probably enjoy this. I think this book will appeal to people who are tired of books that are very woke. I think the protagonist would have voted for Trump. I voted for Biden.

I hope you found this review helpful.

I do think there is an audience for this book and am very thankful that we have so many book choices that we can all find books that appeal to our tastes.

Breathtaking yet equally heartbreaking.

Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of this book free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

As someone who has a questionable history of sci-fi books and disappointment, I admit I was a little intimidated by the length of this book and it has taken me a little while to work my way through. Having just finished book 3 I am pleased to say that not one moment of the near-30 hours was wasted.

Starting slowly with the planned invasion of earth, there is a lot of comedy and craziness while mankind, divided by alien mind-control, fight to prepare for the impending full-stage invasion, This part of the series was the slowest part for me, with a lot of guerilla action and negotiation but it soon became obvious that many of these colourful characters I was meeting were destined to fall in the coming battle.

It ends with a major battle and one moment in that battle nearly broke me and remains one of the most shocking moments I've read in scifi but onwards from there things get more crazy, With further alien races and new dangers appearing in book 2, I soon found that the stakes were much higher and the scale so much larger than simply Earth. Again, the action is secondary to the brilliant characters but the battles remain beautifully described and come thick and fast.
None of this could have prepared me for the Black Fleet and their almost Sith-like quest for universal dominance. The threat is so great, old squabbles and differences must be set aside and alliances made to ensure the universe can survive,

THroughout all of these, I found C J Grey's narration impeccable and he injects both pathos, humour and excitement in his readings while providing a sense of identity and purpose to each character and, under less skillful hands, the 30 hours could have been a drag but they chose their narrator perfectly.

All said and done, this is the second longest sci-fi audio I've listened to but definitely my favourite of them all and I look forward to seeing what books 4-6 have to offer.

Thirteen hours of listening pleasure

An epic Space opera long enough to really get your teeth into. A dystopian techno-thriller following in the footsteps of Gene Roddenberry. I was invested in the characters from very early in the story. Clever, witty, well written with excellent narration by C J Grey. I’m looking forward to following up on Sean Robin's other works.

Always guessing

This book is the first 3 books of the Crimson Deathbringer Series. It involves a group of mostly unrelated people who are drawn together to fight of an alien invasion. In the process they learn to trust and depend on one another.

The characters are diverse and some have serious flaws. Sometimes the self pity is a bit overwhelming. But as the series develop the group dwindle due to losses and the group learn to trust and move from one crisis to another.

The narrator has a very low voice and I had to adjust the mixer to get a good fit for me.

This book was provided free of charge with expectation of an honest reveiw.
