Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Gena Showalter comes a new story in her Lords of the Underworld series…

For centuries, Galen the Treacherous has been the most hated immortal in the Underworld. With good reason! This bad boy of bad boys has lied, stolen, cheated, and killed with abandon. Possessed by the demons of Jealousy and False Hope, he has always lived for a single purpose: destroy everything.

Then he met her.

Former demon turned human femme fatale - Legion Honey - sought to kill Galen, but ended up parting with her virginity instead. Afraid of their sizzling connection, she ran away…and ended up trapped in hell, tortured and abused in the worst of ways. Now she’s free, and a shell of herself, afraid of her own shadow.

Galen's hunger for Legion has only grown. Now the warrior with nothing to lose must help her rekindle the fire that once burned inside her. But as desires blaze white-hot, will Legion run again? Or will the unlikely pair succumb to love at long last?

Galen turns out to be just what Legion needs!

Who would have believed that Galen could be exactly what Legion needed to recover from her time in Hell? Patient, kind, giving, understanding, Galen even took the time to remind Legion that she not only could defend herself but that she was a fighter! Legion blooms under his tutelage! She regains her confidence, she becomes stronger and then finally, together, they find the love they both always sought but did not think they deserved!

was glad 4 legion & Galen's story. I loved it.

was glad to finally hear Legions story. She deserves to be happy after what was done to her. So happy that it was with Galen as well. I wanted to finally hear his story as well. I wish she would have made it a little longer so we could of gotten into more of why Galen did all those bad things. I mean he was the bad guy for so long but you never get a proper reason as to why he did what he did. Still a good listen. I hope Fox's story is next.

pretty good..

I was SO excited about legion and galens story that I literally stopped halfway through darkest seduction, to skip ahead and listen to this! LOL! since I have NO problem with spoilers, I just couldn't help myself once I figured out that there was actually something between them I couldn't wait!
it didn't disappoint BUT, this installment of the lords was SIGNIFICANTLY CORNY! its cheese-ball factor was just outrageous at some points which I figured, because its a novella it moves a little faster with pacing so its understandable but I feel like galen was a tad bit out of character by falling so hard so fast and becoming such a......
nothing wrong with it, I was very entertained it was just a bit cheesy haha

Really good addition to the series :D

4-4.5 stars

This was a really good story. Galen might have been a bad guy in previous books but in this one, he's not that bad and you realize that maybe there's some redeeming qualities about him...especially when it comes to Legion/Honey.

Legion/Honey was recovering from her torments at the hands of Cronos in a secluded and protected cabin when Galen comes to find her. He's just in time as a small army was sent to capture her and Galen is seriously injured saving her, which makes Legion/Honey decide to give him a chance. But in the beginning Legion/Honey is delicate and rather fearful so Galen makes an arrangement with her that they should "date" for a month while she recovers, giving her sole control over how fast things go. Legion/Honey does gain back her gumption and Galen experiences some positive changes as his feelings for Legion/Honey grow. Eventually, Legion/Honey and Galen work out their issues so they can come together as a couple and take out a particular threat against them so they can work on having a HEA together.

This was a really enjoyable story. I will admit that it's been a while since I read the other books so Galen and Legion/Honey weren't fresh in my mind. This may have allowed them to escape some criticisms I may have had if I remembered their past story more completely but I don't think there's too much of that. Overall, I liked the story and characters, both primary and secondary (yes, the Lords do come into the story eventually) very much so I'd recommend the series (not sure how well the stories would do as standalones). :)

it was ok

I was really looking forward to this one. But it seemed like the story was just thrown together. I was a bit disappointed in the story. I was hoping for a bit more in Galen's story. Here's hoping that his story will be revisited with more depth later.

My only issue is with Gena

I loved Galen and Legion since Aeron's book. I've been obsessed with this couple ever since. So it goes without saying that i love every bit of it. My only disapointment is with Gena for doing their story a novella when they diserved a full novel.

The narrator was awesome. Love it.

Needed to be longer

The dialogue in this story was fantastic, the story itself was an interesting idea, but it didnt execute with the excitement and action I expected, plus thw story was far too short!!
