More!

I’d love to see where this goes! The heroes are fascinating - especially the older woman Ruth! I found myself frustrated with the immaturity and privileged attitude of the love interest - Sierra. However, the twists and turns of the plot and the strong main character Lucas- more than make up for it!

What the end! 2016!

You have to be kidding me it’s 2022 and there is no continuation of this! Almost not worth listening too! Guess I will have to watch reading any further from Russel Blake stories!

Love this story!

I've been listening to every single book in this series because it's a page-turner AKA great to listen to in the car while driving, should be made into a movie for sure.

OK, if one can ignore common sense

I have listened to all the books in the Day After Never series. They are all action filled and most of the villains in the books receive what they deserve. The stories keep your attention. The major flaw is a lack of realism that is in all the books. There are several prominent threads in all the books that make one wonder why the author wrote such unrealistic plot lines. The books will keep readers/listeners interested, but only after they accept the lack of realism that is commonly encountered.

Faith

Faith is the acceptance of good and evil and those are never proportional. Chasing and stopping evil relies on an abundance of inner strength and trust in those that you support and that support you. Lucas has finally come to accept that he is integral to side of good to the detriment of evil. He needs a partner of equal drive, temperament and capabilities. Male or female, more like Ruby than Sierra, or he loses the war. if not the battles.

Very tired storyline!

This book was practically a synopsis of the last four; bad guy able to move large quantities of people across untold distance while overwhelming and killing all the local populations. Thank God Lucas can decimate them with half the number of people with an untold store of ammo and weapons. And oh yeah, meth head snake got doublecrossed again sorry for the spoiler.
