Story
In the early 1990s, A.H. Almaas had a realization he was not expecting - even after years of deep inner awakenings. "I thought it was a personal experience, not a teaching," he reflects. Now, after two decades of further investigation, A.H. Almaas has concluded that the time is right to share "the view of totality" - what he considers one of the most advanced aspects of his teaching. With Endless Enlightenment, you are invited to join the renowned author and creator of the Diamond Approach® for a six-session program on the view of totality.

Story
Conventional wisdom cautions that desire and passion are opposed to the spiritual path - that engaging in desire will take you more into the world, into egoic life. And for most people, that is exactly what happens. We naturally tend to experience wanting in a self-centered way. The Power of Divine Eros challenges the view that the divine and the erotic are separate. When we open to the energy, aliveness, spontaneity, and zest of erotic love, we will find it inseparable from the realm of the holy and sacred. When this is understood, desire and passion become a gateway to wholeness.

Story
We all long to be free of our discomfort and experience inner peace. However, the attempt to get rid of our discomfort is misguided. We're not broken and don't need to be "healed". Our difficulty is that our deeply suppressed emotional imprints from childhood distract us from an awareness of the present moment. Until this emotional charge from our past is integrated, our attempts to quiet our thoughts and access the peace, joy, and love that are bedrock to our being are of only limited success.

Story
Author Cynthia Bourgeault investigates the imaginal realm - an energetic realm well known to the mystical traditions but often forgotten in our own times. It is invisible to the physical eye, but clearly perceptible through the eye of the heart. The imaginal realm has long been associated with the personal world of dreams, prophecy, and oracles, and it also points toward a higher vision of our human purpose that is both evolutionary and collective. Bourgeault explores both aspects of imaginal reality and tells listeners how we can cooperate more fully with its guidance in our lives.

Blink is a book about how we think without thinking, about choices that seem to be made in an instant, in the blink of an eye, that actually aren't as simple as they seem. The great human quest is to discover who we really are-a discovery that changes our lives and the lives of those around us. With The Deep Heart, spiritual teacher and psychotherapist Dr. John J. Prendergast invites us on a pilgrimage within. The "deep heart" is Prendergast's term for our heart center-a subtle center of emotional and energetic sensitivity, relational intimacy, profound inner knowing, and unconditional love. "The heart area is where we feel most deeply touched by kindness, gratitude, and appreciation, yet it is also where we feel most emotionally wounded".

Story
In this book of key spiritual teachings from unpublished discourses, the great Advaita Master, Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, teaches us that we are not limited to the body. Because of our mistaken body identity, we feel separate from what we truly are. Our identification with the body and mind subjects us to endless cycles of pleasure and pain, desire and fear, which cause us to search beyond ourselves for that which we believe we lack.

Awakening to the Here and Now
Almaas is a teacher of inner work. This audio book is a series of interviews. I read some of his books before and found them to be very good. This interview was excellent. He explains in some detail the different aspects of what he teaches. This is not the kind of audio you would get much out of while performing another activity. It requires full attention, and it would not be interesting to anyone who is looking for some way of succeeding better in their external life. It's all about the inner world; external reality often seems to bring up the inner reactions that we work to dis-identify from. Eventually, it may be revealed to us that the distinctions if inner and outer life don't really exist. It's possible to see, if even just for a few moments, that everything that "exists" springs from non-existence. I listened to this interview over several days. After it ended I really seemed to have the sense of what the inquiry was about. It's not difficult in the sense of understanding what it is. But it is difficult in terms of developing the skill of it.
It may be important to note that while I appreciate the interviews, lectures, and writings of Almaas, I have not been impressed by his followers. (Though I have only met a handful of them.)

Many Deep Insights
Would you listen to The Diamond Approach again? Why?
Certainly I would listed to the Diamond Approach many more times as this is the sort of informations that expands with time. Each time I listen I hear something that I have never heard before and am amazed at the deep insights into human potential and functioning. Brilliant
Who was your favorite character and why?
N/A
Have you listened to any of A. H. Almaas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no this was the first i have heard of him.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
For me it was a book that I savored many times and would only listen to in short segments.
Any additional comments?
I would like to see more of the authors original books be available as the interview method of this book is good but not as fulfilling as a book the author has spent time developing his deepest thoughts and insights.

A Bit Tough, But Worth It
This one was a tough program to comprehend. I'm reading the four books of the Diamond Approach. Along with this program they are very interesting. But by no means an easy read. The ideas Almaas talks about are new to me, i found some ideas difficult to grasp. He talks about essences, and how each has a taste and color. I love this concept. I especially enjoyed the last part of the program. The program calls for self observation, and awareness. I don't think it is possible to get the best benefit out of it just by reading. One needs to deeply look into her self to begin to understand the concepts Almaas is presenting.

What did you love best about The Diamond Approach?
An extraordinary inner journey into who I am not that I take myself to be.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Diamond Approach?
There is no inner child - unless you're pregnant :)
Which scene was your favorite?
Narcacism and me
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
That the self is a construct, constructed for me by me that holds me back from realising the true self

Listen to the Sample before Purchase
What disappointed you about The Diamond Approach?
This maybe necessary and truthful or not but it's hardly kind.
Briefly.
Good interviewer who attempted to ask relevant questions followed by the author providing answers that were 95% gibberish. Yes, it maybe my inability to see deeper meaning in what words can never provide or it could just be gibberish.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Nothing by this guy
How did the narrator detract from the book?
only with content
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
it could have been longer
Any additional comments?
Please listen to the sample. If you like it I wish you and your 30 to 40 essences well.

Rich exploration for experienced practitioners
Very in depth and rich in content. This may not be content suitable for beginners. But those experienced with practices like Buddhism, Hinduism, Kabbalah, etc, will certainly be able to follow the exploration that Almaas takes us through. Certainly, those who have had spiritual experiences in the past will relate. To beginners it may feel like meaningless babble or a “pamphlet” as one reviewer wrote. But if you’re a spiritual practitioner, this talk is nourishing content.

Very impressed with the inclusion of depth psychology and how working with psychological structures is important, not just something to be seen, but worked through and then also seen through
