Love it, thank you
Thank you for creating this book. I was very young when I was diagnosed and my mom decided not to give me medication and not talk about it. I’ve been embarrassed of having it but didn’t really Now what it was. I’ve been so hard on my self for years and this book didn’t just liberate me but gave me solutions. I wish there was a section of school and College suggestions. That would really help

how to deal with your ADHD: be rich!
the book doesn't start until like 4 chapters in, and a lot of the help involves things like "hire people to help clean up!". Some of it seems like good advice, but the majority of the time I felt like this was targeted to the wealthy.

Good Info; Bad Narration
Who’s afraid of Virginia Wolf? I am. I will avoid audiobooks narrated by her in the future. It sounded like she was reading the book for the first time as she was recording her narration. I had to think about how else sentences could be said out loud in order for some portions of the book to make sense.
However, Ratey’s book is filled with great information for ADHDERs

Basic and Self Involved
The entire first chapter of this book is just the author telling you why coaching is so needed… Namely her coaching services. She always says what she does for her patients and doesn’t really speak from the perspective of her patients. She says that she has ADHD, but this feels more like just facts she’s telling about her life rather than an experience which is rich and relatable. The advice is super basic and I feel like this book doesn’t actually say that much of substance.
