Publisher's Summary

Chaos awakens alone, surrounded by an endless jungle.

When she discovers a small village of natives, the world-weary reincarnator finds peace of mind for the first time in forever. Lulled by the tranquil atmosphere, she forgets her worries. But when outsiders arrive, they bring war onto the doorsteps of her new home. Once more, the Crawling Chaos gathers her will to fight.

In a land where gods walk among the people, Chaos discovers herself anew. Finding pieces of her past and making new friends along the way, the reincarnated high school girl goes on a journey that shall go down in the annals of history. When the pieces fall into place, she will learn a truth about the world she would have rather not known.

Our lovable Cosmic Horror is brought to new lands with unfamiliar sights and wondrous discoveries. But even if it looks like a fresh start, she can't shake her nature and extends a helping hand to those in need.

The Demon Princess Magical Chaos series contains gore and explicit sexual content. It's intended for mature listeners.

not my favorite of the series

not a fan of side stories which this story was since not much came out of it. also, feel like they are making the MC too emotional. Far to often she's either swelling up with pride or trying to hold back tears in situations that don't require so much emotion.. What happened to the murder machine that killed all those innocent teachers?

filler

the story is fine the reader is excellent as always. but this is a filler story if you're all juiced up about the main quest and what's going on with our heroin this isn't the story for you. it takes our heroin to a completely different continent and basically leaves are there for the entire book. just jump to the next book that's what I plan to do I couldn't even finish this one. I know I spelled heroin wrong I use voice to text and I'm too lazy to fix it

a dip in story quality

after the events of the last book I couldn't wait to start volume five. unfortunately the author decided that the first 3/4 of this volume needed to feel like filler content. completely all new characters are introduced to the story. The protagonist doesn't learn anything, grow in any way, nor does the plot move forward until the last quarter of the book. fortunately, the last quarter of the book reveals a lot of secrets about the world and our protagonist learns who the true enemy is. while I am looking for it to the next book I am hoping it does not drag on as this book did.
also, katana Jones did an amazing job with her performance. it was definitely the highlight of this book and the only thing that kept me listening the entire time.

Classic filler episode

90% of this book feels like a filler, a side story completely unconnected from the ongoing plot from the other books. With only 10% at the very end seemingly connected at all to the ongoing plot.

Love the series but if I ever went back and re-read I would skip this entry.

Another Banger

The narrative leveled up again in this installment. I liked the vocal effects that were employed during the battle cries.

Lacks slice of life and world

This one is definitely my least favorite so far, it lacks the slice of life feel, save for rare and short moments, of the previous ones that got me into the series, instead going to a overbearing degree for plot development and action. Also most of this book feels outside of the others with relearning big names, relearning how everything works in the world, ect. As if we haven't in previous books.

Personality Change

This book is essentially a filler arc that is a decent story in and of itself. My main issue here is that Chaos' personality has shifted enough that it feels like a different main character. I still liked the book, it was just jarring when compared with the ones that came before. Narrator did a great job as always. Also, if you're not one for filler arcs in stories you might be better off reading the cliff notes online.

entertaining read

enjoyed the series a lot. I like the pop culture references. The machine that makes everything that you can think of possible reminds me of the movie
" Forbiden planet" Where an extinct race created such a machine and it created things from their subconscious minds and nightmares and killed them all.
