Mike Cohen has it all figured out. A successful venture capitalist, he’s got billions in the bank, a lifestyle any New Yorker would kill for, and - if he plays his cards right - a shot with his cute, punky coworker. But everything changes when the life-altering technology he's developing lands him in the middle of a global conspiracy, and the only way to save himself, his loved ones, and his tech is to embed the highly experimental Brainocytes in his own brain. Brainocytes transform the human experience, making you smarter, faster, and more powerful.

The youngest daughter of the Master of the Wood lived in ramshackle Westwood Hall, in the independently minded Westwood estate of Sevendor. Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

Publisher's Summary
Going to Level 2 gives me unimaginable power. So naturally, now that everyone I care about is in trouble, I can't do it anymore. The Elders can, but will they teach me, and if so, at what price?Ultimately, it comes down to a choice. What am I willing to sacrifice for those I love?

Action-packed, definitely mind-blowing!
Where does The Elders rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to this audio book from the first series until this book 4 and it doesn't decline one bit, it became more suspense and thrilling.
What did you like best about this story?
What I like about the story is the consistency of the story-line, action and of course the cool protagonist Darren. From the simple thought reader then becoming a level 2? I never thought that that's why I am rooting what kind of unimaginable power there will be and I'm am not disappointed.
Which character – as performed by Roberto Scarlato – was your favorite?
Roberto is an excellent narrator and he states every words very clear. I like how he perform as Darren
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Oh my gosh, I do hope there will be a film about mind dimension it would be very cool! Actually I'm not good at making tag lines but I would be rooting to who would be the actor chosen as Darren.
Any additional comments?
I can feel there will be book 5, I can really feel it, hoping for the book 5 to come soon.

The Ultimate Mind Dimension Book!
Where does The Elders rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I think by far after reading Book 0 to 4 this one is my favorite only because I am already attached with the characters and I know their personalities and Darren has a big challenge in this one which brings a more adventurous side of him because it represents more of a challenge for him and lastly making the listening more intrigue and full of intense moments.
What about Roberto Scarlato’s performance did you like?
His narrative skills sometimes to emphasise some parts adds a lot of drama and suspenseful moments which when I'm listening to them they give me goose bumps. That is also because whenever I can I close my eyes and start listening to the chapters submerging myself in the story, creating the scenarios, emotions and situations described by Roberto.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I always had trouble to when stop listening to the chapters, I work and study which makes my free time reduced but these type of storylines can get me going for a while without being able to get my headphones off. I couldn't sadly to listen to it all in one sitting but is definitely one of those.

The last and best
Like all the previous books in this saga, I found this to be fast paced and could not even fathom going to bed as I had to know what would happen next. A lot of questions are answered, and things are well resolved at the end, rather than leaving you hating the author because you need more right now, as many books have left me in the past.
I am so grateful for having gotten the chance to review this series in exchange for my honest opinion and feel it's one of the best- and I've read a LOT - that I've seen in a long time. There are so many complexities in the plot and characters that you almost have to be a detective if you want to know with accuracy what will happen next.

Leaves you wanting more!
Dima Zales and Anna Zaires have done it again! These new age authors have the amazing ability to draw you into the story and keep your attention focused on it. The pace is fast but not confusing. The Mind Dimension series is very creative and full of twists and turns. For those who missed the first three books, I highly recommend that you get started on them. It's really a worthy read. I also like Roberto Scarlato as the narrator for the Mind Dimensions series. His voice is clear and crisp, evoking ample emotion of the scene at the right moment. His voice helps the reader stay focused on the main character's development in the story. Darren's journey in the series of discovering more about himself and his special abilities builds up the suspense and makes the reader want to accompany the hero till the end. I could not stop listening with the anticipation to find out what happens next.

Wonderful addition to a Great Story
This is the 4th book in the Mind dimensions Series. If you have read the previous book 1-3 Then you should know most of the main characters by now. This book starts out with a ton of action and intrigue. You definitely need to read the previous book before this one. It all pulls together after listening for awhile. So many twists that you might get dizzy, but a good dizzy. You get to know more about the main character Darren's family and brings together the different pieces to this huge puzzle. Darren has to try to figure out what's going on before it's too late.
There are different levels to the readers and guides, he wants to bring them both together to make piece, but there is a bunch of resistance to this. Throughout the whole thing he is trying to figure out who wants to kill him. With people being able to make others do things they would normally would not do and change their thinking and "push" them to do horrible things. It is a hard thing to figure out who would want to kill him.
I kept listening trying to figure it out. If you enjoyed the previous books then I know you will like this one as much as I do. It was absolutely worth it. I can't wait for the next book from this author. The narrator was very good also, he was very good at making you feel all the emotion going on.

Another great excerpt in the series
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Definitely. There is action and suspense and wonderful characters.
Any additional comments?
Who to trust, who not to trust? Darren yet again is on the hunt of the puppet master -- the pusher who had been controlling Kyle is still out there. Starting with Kyle's funeral all the way through to the battle at the temple. Can Darren rescue his friends and bring peace between the guides and readers? A risky maneuver puts it all on the line. How will Darren cope and come to terms with his new situation after waking up in the hospital? Is Eugene's finding really true, only time will tell.

Loved the story itself. But...
The narration, while not terrible, made the story a bit tough to follow. Not to mention, I think this book should have been narrated by a man and a woman. Also, the one issue I have with the story is the main character, Darren should have been older instead of just 21. Had it not been mentioned, I imagined him to be between 25-30.
Otherwise, the story was really cool and I felt like I was there...feeling all of the action and "phasing" out and into the quiet. Although I was a bit disappointed with the ending. it felt unfinished.

The final reveal
Darren, the main character learns about himself and continues to learn more about his powers throughout the series.
I really struggled with Mr Roberto Scarlato's narration at times because I couldn't always differentiate between the characters he was reading.
I was torn by the creativity of the writing, the slow start up to the story (wishing I had started on book 2) and Mr. Roberto Scarlato's reading. His voice just didn't grab me as someone like Darren's character. He definitely put empathy into telling the story but for me lacked the passion, the "pow" impact, when listening to a struggle or scene with an explosion, or gun shots. I never felt the terror or concern in his tone.

Love this Series!
If you could sum up The Elders in three words, what would they be?
Energetic, Mind Blowing
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No, but the book is a never ending stream of action and emotions, which I thoroughly enjoyed!
Any additional comments?
I am absolutely in love with this series. I do think there is too much information in the previous books to try and read book 4 as a stand alone book. I have really enjoyed the entwining story line of the Elders and Darren's new look on life because of his newfound mothers.
