Interesting cast of characters/juvenile prose
I just finished the series. I had to keep reminding myself that this book is written for teens. The characters are fun to put together (Prometheus and Shakespeare for example).
The whole time loop concept is problematic for any writer and has never been done well by any of them. After all a story is based on the assumption of causation and once you break that assumption it is difficult to care about what happens to a character. If they die in one time line and live is another then why struggle over past events?
The main problem in this book is prose. I thought I might be sick if I heard one more repetition of someone drawing a "deep shuddering breath". all characters are constantly a a point of nervous collapse. The exaggerated emotional state of the characters forced me to keep repeating to myself that this book is written for the adolescent personality. I think the author should give the young reader more credit and apply a bit more subtlety.
My wife and I eventually finished the book only because we had read the others and wanted to see how things worked out.
If I had it to do over again I would not have started this series.

Started out great...
Would you be willing to try another book from Michael Scott? Why or why not?
Probably not. This series dragged on for two books more than necessary. By the fifth book, I didn't even care what happened next. I just wanted it to be over already.
What does Paul Boehmer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I only listened to the last two books to see how the story would end, and since it was an audio book, I could carry on with work, etc, while listening. Unfortunately, I caught myself losing focus constantly in the last book because the storyline was so slow and uninteresting.
Could you see The Enchantress being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
No. It had possibilities of greatness, but the story died in the last book.
Any additional comments?
I really enjoyed the first four books. The intermingling of mythology and modern day cities was interesting. If I had never read the last two books, I wouldn't have missed out on anything. The last book felt scattered and forced.

An epic conclusion.
This book was simply amazing and a very stunning conclusion to a series that I found myself addicted to since the first book. I find myself rather melancholy at knowing that this is the last book in the series, but I was pleased with the way it ended.
Many questions had been raised throughout the series, and all of them were answered in this last book. I was not disappointed in the way this book ended at all. I could see myself listening to this series again.
One of my favorite things about this book though was the character development. Throughout the other books, I had always wondered just what would become of some characters. I was shocked several times by the way some characters developed, though it was never a bad shock. All in all, this book was very much worth the money I spent, and the time I took to listen to it. I had a very hard time putting this one down. I was entirely riveted.

A Staggering Disappointment
You know, you listen to five books, to the adventures, the twists and the turns and sometimes you just want to scream at the author at the sixth. I could not have believed that Scott would finish in such a poor, unenlightened, uninspired way. I am heartsick with disappointment. If that is not enough, the ending just doesn’t hold with the universe that Scott himself created begging numerous questions and leaving unforgivable gaffs. Just too bad!

This was a fantastic series. I can see several of my male and female students of all ages picking and reading to the end. I believe that not only with the mythology, but the combined history, will captive An audience of middle schoolers. Though it took longer than 6 months for me to finish this series, I found meself: sad, laughing, cheering and getting angry with the antagonist. All the things we as teachers would hope our students might do while reading a book. 6 out if 5 ⭐️s. ( I was never good at Math )

This entire book franchise has been amazing. I purchased book one as I loved Harry potter and wanted. As book one came to close I was disappointed that it was over but when I realised there were 5 other books I was simply in awe. this book series has so many twists and they all finish so well in this book. this book left me with my jaw open with things I found out about the characters. I would highly recomend this series to anyone who loves magic of simply good books. trust me it will really "hook" you in.

Couldn't wait for the next book
Have read all 6 books and none have been a let down. The story has excitement all the way what a page turner. Although I found this series of books under teenage and I left that many years ago I found it gripping. Hope that Michael Scott has another story in him. Audible only gave me 5 stars to give the books I would certainly give more. Paul Boehmer as reader was an excellent choice.

Uuuurgh!!!
This book.. what did i just read? it’s just terrible. Could there be a more unsatisfying ending? Oh and you will see it coming a mile away i can guarantee that. Just envision how you think the story will end, you won’t be far off. Ok so the characters, the main two protagonists were so bland I just couldn’t stand it. You’ll find yourself drawn to the other supporting characters who actually give these books life and honestly some of the “villains” are more interesting. I say “villains” because most of them are gray characters. I’ll tell you now my least favorite character was definitely josh. Were we supposed to like him? In 5 of the 6 books he is the most infuriating character and then suddenly in this book he has a change of heart. I’ve never had this visceral of a reaction to a book before it was just so predictable! As for the reader, I actually like this reader over the first two? 3? i don’t know but he was definitely he better of the two. Oh and thank you Michael Scott! Thank you for recapping things that have happened in previous books over and over again!!
Maybe this book just wasn’t for me? I remember reading the first two books when i was around 16 and thinking they were amazing, but finishing the series now at 22 i realize these books are just terrible. And yet.. i finished the entire series..
