Story
Sal had woken up with no recollection of the night before a few times but never like this...in a forest...alone...confused...scared. She scoured her surroundings, desperate for some clue as to how she’d ended up here. Fragments of conversations, snapshots of memories were all she could scramble together. But, suddenly, none of it mattered. A stranger. A warning. And the hunt is on. Now Sal and her friends are in a battle like no other. Death and terror lurk around every corner. Can they defy the odds and live to fight another day? Or will they fall like so many before?

Another EPIC story!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, characters that Christopher Artinian writes will stay with you long after the book is finished. The two top female characters, Wren and Robin, they will make you laugh, they will make you cry and they will make you proud. If you haven’t started this series, I highly suggest that you do so ASAP. Book eleven will be released soon so time to start binging!
Also, Kimberly Bretton who does the narration on audible is perfect!

I’m absolutely floored at how great book 10 is! It’s well written and breathes a new life into the series, it makes me want to binge listen the entire series again! Robin and Wren have grown up so much but Robin still has her petulant side but that’s just Robin and it would take away from the story if she wasn’t. I wonder what’s next for the trio?

Intense, non-stop action that delivers!
The End of Everything: Book 10 by Christopher Artinian and narrated by Kim Bretton is a yes yes yes! I forgot how intense these books can be, but that’s a good thing! Highly recommend The End of Everything if you’ve been following the series, are new to the series, or if you’re looking for a series with strong female leads.
What it about? After some previous heavy loses, Wren, Robyn, Mila, George, and Wolf are on a brief mission to spread word that Prime Minister Beck made it to Isle of Skye with an army. While on this journey, things take a turn for the worse when George is injured. With Mila still healing from prior injuries, Robyn and Wren are forced to leave their two loved ones in a cottage to search for food.
The action is nonstop, great character development (yep, still ten books in), sister banter, bad guys, new characters, and of course zombies.
The narrator, Kim Bretton, gives a fabulous performance once again. She nails the characters, pacing, emphasis, and brings the book to life.
Overall, I recommend the book and series. Ten books in and I’m still loving it, it still keeps me on the edge of my seat, and there’s still a freshness to it. For those who aren’t aware, this series crosses over into the Safe Haven series. It’s a tough choice to pick which one I love more, but there’s something special about Robyn and Wren. Plan on putting 6 hours and 42 minutes aside for listening to this book in one setting.
Parental guidance/trigger warnings: Some of the things (not a full list)- Afghanistan war mention, religion, death, zombies, bad people doing bad things because this is the zombie apocalypse. Language used: Fx2, Sx30 (and a few times in German).

Wren, Robin and more!
"There are no favours with family, there's just family." This quote pretty much sums up the theme of this series. Wren, Robyn, their Granddad George, and friend Mila are on a mission to try to find survivors on some of the nearby islands. Of course, as with earlier books in this series, the intrepid sisters soon find themselves in some uniquely horrific situations!
There are some close brushes with death from several areas: the reanimated corpses (of course), villainous humans out to use other survivors, and a crazed minister come to mind. Along the way, the girls meet a washed out rock star and his family, rescue a baby and take on more horrible human beings than anyone should have to face.
The author has created a wonderful cast of characters and his books always have plenty of emotion, bravery, and insight into the human psyche. Even though we would all like to think that we would be brave and helpful during a SHTF situation, this book points out the frailty of the human spirit when faced with unimaginable events.
I especially appreciate the strong, take no prisoner attitudes of the female main characters in Mr. Artinian's books. Too many books in this genre only have weak, needy and dependent female characters. You won't find any of those here! There is plenty of zombie action, lots of close calls and loads of emotion throughout the book.
Mr. Artinian's books are among the few that I will read as a physical or ebook, then reread as an audiobook. One reason for this is the amazing performance of the narrator, Kim Bretton. She truly brings the story and the characters to life and even though I know what is going to happen, I still feel all of the tension and all of the emotion all over again as if reading for the first time. Her voices and pacing are perfect and truly make this fantastic book even better! As usual, I am impatiently waiting for the next installment in this amazing series!

What an awesome creation !
It takes an amazing imagination to write around twenty books series which each one is a total masterpiece keeping you glued to them all.
The author Christopher Artinian has done it without repeating and many unpredictable or excepted twists always just in the right timing to make it all so good.
His characters where also perfect, you always felt like you know exactly what each of them thinking and for the locations you felt like you are totally there. No less then a perfect creation !
And Kim Bretton with a voice of an angle perfectly narrated each book, each character to perfection packaging it all into an audio which you can really feel.
And for Tina Metcalfe who let me review each one of those audiobooks of both series’s perfectly rearranging them all perfectly into one awesome creation i so appreciate it that I truly can’t thank her enough !!!
I absolutely without a doubt,
Recommend this series to all !
