Suspenseful and captivating with a small 'but'...

I couldn't stop listening to this series, it was suspesful and engaging. Narrated very well also. However, I got super frustrated with the main character just being stupid, it almost made me stop listening. Thankfully the story was so engaging I kept going and I'm very happy I did. it was well worth the credit.

Character needs to learn and grow as series...

The thing about a series is that the main character has to learn and grow as it progresses. It's so frustrating to hear the main character make the same mistakes over and over again and really makes the entire book hard to read or in this case, listen to.

Ok!

I thought this was good. But it became apparent that I am not a fan of the main character and her tendency to not think before she acted. With all that being said, it is a great installment.

Are you serious?

I seriously can’t believe there could possibly be people in the world this clueless. Thank God it’s a story because there were times in all 3 books that I wanted to literally shake the main character! Ughhhhhh. On the other hand, excellent story telling👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I was all into the characters and even though disappointed in Becca, the main character, until the end. Great series.

The protagonist is beyond irritating.

Becca is portrayed as a sorry sap. The mystery isn’t a mystery. The plot is too easy as the reader is easily one step ahead. The solution is for Becca to be a stronger character. I used my one Audible credit per month for a conclusion, which is sorry. Sorry I expected.

I enjoyed it overall

The story was great! This is the book that finally wraps up the mysteries of Redemption. (Atleast the ones we know about.) Michele PW tied all the different things going on together really well and I wasn't left with any lingering questions.

The narration was great!

What was really hard to get through though was how annoying the main character was. She continued to make the same mistakes over and over and over. She also made some really dumb decisions- like unrealistically dumb. However, I suppose being gaslit for years could explain some of her choices.

Not as good as the first 2 books

The first 2 books of this series was very good. The third book.... not so much. The main character is portrayed as an unintelligent teenager, not a 30 something woman. Very disappointing. I kept on thinking of the commercial about the teenagers in a horror film making all of the WRONG decisions. The narrator tried her best with the material she had.

Wish I would have stopped at book 2.

enticing but disappointing

This series had potential but fell short. l liked the characters and their relationships but kept waiting for more. A wasted credit unfortunately.
