Publisher's Summary

Kirian and I were just 12 years old when I pulled him from the icy waters of the creek behind my house. As he looked in my direction with unseeing lavender eyes, I quickly realized our age was just about the only thing we had in common. He spoke with an accent, he had pointy ears, and he was so beautiful it made my heart ache. Oh, and he claimed to be a fae prince cursed by witches who stole his sight.

I thought he was crazy from hypothermia. Turns out, he wasn’t, and for some reason he keeps coming back. But a day in my world is a year in his. Every time I see him, he’s older. Wiser. Hotter.

Over the past six years, I’ve tried not to fall in love with him because the terms of the curse are clear: If he doesn’t wait for his fated mate in all ways, including an innocent (or not-so-innocent) kiss, he’ll be blind forever.

So when Kirian kisses me and pulls me through the portal to his realm, I make it my mission to do some damage control. It’d be a whole lot easier if he wasn’t determined to marry me...and if someone wasn’t trying to murder me every step of the way.

The Fae King's Curse is a full-length novel with no cliff-hanger.

Cozy Romantasy FTW

I'm shocked by how good this book was. And not only that but it's really fricken adorable. It gave me some "time traveler's wife" vibes. Friends to lovers trope reigns king in this novel and the MCs love is the sweetest thing. It's dual POV and the voice actors do a really good job. This book was much more of a cozy read than I anticipated and if you're looking for a sweet story with some spice, magic and faeries you should check it out. It's also a stand alone story, the other stories in the series seem to be focused on other rulers affected by the curse.

A wonderful start to an epic fantasy

This story - just wow. It needs more than 5 stars. This masterful tale hooks you in from the first word, grabs you by the throat and keeps you captive until the last syllable. I loved, loved Kirian and Quinn’s story. It is the epic love story of Quinn, a human, and Kirian, a fae who is king of the Night Realm in Valoria. Kirian is under a curse of blindness that can only be removed by his fated mate and includes a requirement of only kissing his fated mate lest the curse become permanent - a mate he only has a cryptic clue to assist him in finding her and who he has waited thousands of years to discover. When he was a young teen he took a portal to the human world where he met Quinn. He continues to visit Quinn every day through the use of a portal. One day on earth equals a year in the fae lands. So the six years that their friendship has deepened into a strong friendship and love, Kirian has aged to 2,000 while Quinn is only 18. Kirian takes Quinn through the portal to Valoria when he learns she is going away to college and he will not be able to visit her. That’s when the journey to their HEA kicks into high gear and they’ll have to survive multiple assassination attempts, political intrigue, and mounting sexual tension. The story includes what you’d expect from this genre - sweet moments, steamy scenes, intrigue, fighting, dangerous situations, paranormal creatures, evil masterminds, henchmen, loyal friends and family, tragic back stories, secrets, mystical coincidences, snark, laughs, and unexpected plots twists. I just loved the heartwarming, action packed, emotional roller coaster journey that is Kirian and Quinn’s HEA. The book is well written, has characters with a lot of depth who grow, plenty of witty dialogue, and an engaging storyline. The adventure of Kirian and Quinn will give you all the feels - laughing, crying, swooning, gasping, cringing, teeth gritting, and cheering. This is book 1 of the Between Dawn and Dusk series and I am glad we get the love stories of the other characters from this series. I am not ready to leave Valoria behind.

This is a duet narration and it is amazing. Avery Caris makes a perfect strong but vulnerable Quinn and Theo Sinclair’s growly and haughty voice is just how I imagined Kirian. Their combined talents add a richer dimension to an already phenomenal story.

epic love story within a fantasy book!

This was book was the perfect escape from reality! That I what I love most about romantic fantasy. I can completely lose myself in the world the author has created .
Ms. Schlosser drew me in from the start and kept me engaged to the very end.

Avery Caris and Theo Sinclair narrated this one and did a fantastic job voicing Quinn and Kirian!

Can't wait to listen to the next book.

Eerily familiar

I will start oft by saying this is my new favorite book. 😍 🙌 ✨️ 💕
Second is the narration was spot on.
Third this is almost exactly a fantasy I've had since I was a little girl living in the middle of the woods.
sigh. ❤️

3 stars

I’ll admit this was not exactly what I was expecting so it took me a little longer than normal to finish. It was a little too much of a slow burn for my tastes. I did enjoy when they met, I think that was my favorite part. The story overall was enjoyable so I give it 3 stars. I think for me I was expecting a little bit more.
Narration was great!

Loved it!

This is an amazing start to what I hope will be an amazing series. I could not put this down once I started it and got through it in one day. Kirian and Quinn were great main characters and it was fun to see their relationship develop. There were some seriously cute moments in them that I wanted to listen to forever. This is a bit of a slow burn romance which worked for them. I also really enjoyed the way the magic worked in this world. I’m excited to see where this series will go and what will happen next. The narrators did a really good job with the story and brought the characters to life for me.

Not with the hype

This book jumped around for me. Vocabulary was limited and simple. Good idea just poorly executed.

Different Realms, Different Lives, One Love

12yr old Quinn spends most of her time in the woods by her home..an outcast due to the unusual freckles on her face. One day she sees a young boy her age struggling in the river...she pulls him out. He is unusual in his manner, speech and looks and is blind. A friendship develops as she learns he is fae and must visit her through a portal.
I have to admit as far as paranormal stories go ones involving fae has not been my favorite, but I LOVED THIS STORY!
The characters, the world building, and struggles, the live, the understanding and compassion kept me engaged throughout the story.
My first book with this author and and a new fan (me) was earned with this book. I am anxious to keep going with this series and learn what happened within this fae world!
The narrators were fantastic, fitting the characters perfectly and providing an emotional rendition..sweet and steamy.
I requested the audiobook and received it for a voluntary and honest review.

I love this world, absolutely fantastic!

Kirian and Quinn’s story was engaging and entertaining, I really love the way the world build was set and the characters built. Their love story was sweet and a bit of a slow-burn. I like the plot line, it had a good pacing and the narration by Theo Sinclair and Avery Caris was pretty good, their voices were on point, good pronunciation and editing, the volume was well balanced and it was with good quality, just as I expected from Pink Flamingo Productions. I would love to continue with the rest of the books of the series.
