Publisher's Summary

At long last, Lutz and his party have reached the far eastern edge of the Orakian Kingdom, just a day's walk from the elven border. However, during a quest to save a town, they find themselves close to one of the ancient labyrinths--a dungeon.

Monsters, traps, and treasure aren't the only things waiting for Lutz inside, and outside the dungeon, forces are beginning to gather. The Forsaken are appearing all over the region, and the local High Priest is determined to hunt them down. But not all is as it seems, both inside the dungeon and out.

I loved this series so much

This addition was so good. The first part of this book and the opening chapters are Lutz and his companions going too there first dungeon and conquering it. There is alot of fighting in this book, it's personally one of my favorite parts of this book. The fights are very detailed and awesome. The abilities are unique and the Mc gets more of said abilities in this book. one of my last complaints was the Mc didn't get much stronger in the 3rd book, but it all smooths out in this book. he gets alot stronger and gets more companions in the process, another strengths of this book is you can call this book a isekai. most isekais are written like k-dramas but this one isn't, it's a good part of both worlds of fantasy. the character progression is good, the world building and detail is also really good. The characters also have a really unique personality, almost reminding me of an anime, all characters have there own quirkiness and keep it throughout this book. This was a really good addition, and I loved it all the way through.

Edit. I also love the start of this book, it was so good. The abilities Lutz get are also really good. And I actually like the harem and the vampire girl, the companionship they show in this book is like no other. It's all fun and games one second and death and killing the other. You'll have fun reading this as I have.

New tagline

More Harem! As enjoyable as the last 3 with a couple hints as to why everything is happening the way it is. So some less subtle foreshadowing and a promise of more elves and less humans in book 5.

So worth your time and treasure

This series is a slight divergent from the stuff that I normally enjoy for entertainment. I have never regretted not even once picking up this series. I eagerly await each installment. The following was my review for when this book came out in eBook format:

I really do enjoy this series. Ya this one was a little different from past volumes, but still just as good. I can't wait for the audio. I look forward to the next entry.

Now that it's out on audio I'm going to echo my past self in that I am indeed looking forward to the next entry. As well as the audio. To narrator always says a fantastic job and I got to say thank you to everybody who's had a hand in bringing this story to us the readers and then the listeners.

This book ruined the other 3.

In this book the MC turned into the dense simp most other isekai MCs are. Girl stabs him and tries to kill him and what does he do? Not kill her or punish her for it. Nope, he frees her from slavery, gives her enchanted gear, and saves her life...which is completely opposite of what he has done for the first 3 books. I'm sure by book 4 he will be letting everyone walk all over him.

Not bad for the next book in this series.

This is not bad for the next book in the series but the series is beginning to drag. It is taken 3 1/2 books just to get to the elven lands. At this rate it’ll be another 10 to 20 books before anything of major significance happens in this world. Unfortunately this is one of the major drawbacks that happens when you base the title of your story on a fact that eventually it’s going to have to be overturned. So if you want to keep calling this the false hero then you have to manipulate the story in such a way that the fact would never come out that he was not the false hero. With that in mind you have to keep pushing off certain facts in the story so as not to let it come to a conclusion. Unfortunately that just makes the story come becomes stale after a while and people lose interest in it. For now I’ll continue to read the novels as they come out but I’m already beginning to see the inevitable decline of the storyline just from this book.
