I absolutely love this series and I loved Bobby so this book was a great surprise. I love the fact that the girl was the one that was pushing away and only wanted sex and he wanted more. I hope there are more books in the series.

Performance was just ok. But the mans part, a man would never talk like that, say those things or use that tone of voice.

The story line is ok but the things they say and what they're thinking is so unrealistic. I read about 3 audible books a week and love MC books but this one is just not good.

Another good MC read

I like this series .... the characters are likable, gives a positive view of MC life (even if they are outlaws), and keeps you clamoring for the HEA with the sexual passion emitted. This is the third in the series... I liked books 1 & 2 better, but this one is a good romantic listen. This is Bobby's story with Doc, which was eluded to in previous books. It is a stand alone and if you missed books 1 & 2 you are not missing anything. The only "negative" to this story is that I had trouble relating to Bobby's attachment when he was so distracted by other women. In my opinion this was a 3-4 star read ... hence the rating. It is predictable as the H/h struggle with their feelings of attraction, there is danger, and ultimately they end up together in the end. The narration was pleasant. I used a credit, but it is definitely worth a credit or sale.

Getting trite!

I’m sorry to say that I’m getting board with this series. It’s the same basic plot, repeated. I noticed this same pattern in another one of Forgy’s series. I might finish the series, later, one I give it a break but, I can’t stomach any more of this series right now.

Bobby and Jessica okay book!

This was an okay love story. It was kind of predictable. I do think she had enough bad events in her life so I can see why it was not as hard core as the other two books. I have to say Shadow and Dani are still my favorite.

OK, HE'S NO SAINT... BUT HE IS HER SWEET SALVATION

Bobby may be the charismatic, handsome, tattooed and sexy Road Captain of the Devil's Dust MC but he's oh so much more.... he's a hero having taken bullets for Shadow in the previous book, he's a charming, roguish womanizer and a bad-ass when needed. But, in the Prologue, it's obvious that he has a soft heart when it comes to Jessica (Doc) the woman he murdered for when he was just a Prospect six years earlier. Because when Jessica, and her 3 yr old daughter, turned up bloody and bruised all those years ago it instantly brought out Bobby's protective side..... as well as his silent claim on her.

However, Jessica is haunted by the mental, physical and sexual abuse that she endured during her marriage which stops her from having anything but booty calls with Bobby..... because he's the one man that could ruin her peace of mind and threaten her resolve to never get attached again. However, things change when Bobby thinks Jessica's dating someone so he ups the ante and decides to personally exorcise the deep sexual and emotional demons that have mentally and physically scarred her by slowly (and skilfully) reprogramming her every sexual experience. Then, hopefully that may free her from her past..... and maybe clear the way for him. This brings out the loving, caring, tender, patient, passionate, possessive and sexy side of Bobby but will it be enough to finally win Jessica's heart?

Apart from the fiery, sizzling and turbulent affair, there's plenty of drama, suspense, danger, action, violence, twists, chills and thrills because Jessica's life is brutally threatened, someone has to pay when a bloody murder is committed and there's all the typical MC business. An entertaining main and secondary cast, both H/H undergo a lot of character growth, a very enjoyable, hot and romantic plot and both of the narrators did a great job in bringing it all to life. Dual POV's and it could easily be a stand-alone listen but, if you haven't already listened to books 1 and 2, I recommend getting the whole series.

Worth a credit? Bobby's a sweetie, both he and Jessica are strong, caring and loving characters who have playful banter, great chemistry and have the hots for each other and the emotional, sometimes heartbreaking, plot takes their relationship to the next level and way way beyond that. So, if you like your heroes as drool-worthy leather wearing Alphas, you too will find this a very creditworthy MC listen. (But beware - it does have chapters on violent spousal abuse).

Such a great book!

I have loved Bobby since the first book of this series and his book sealed the deal for me. He is a goofy outlaw with a heart a million miles wide!
Jessica is a smart, strong woman with a dark past and has a wall so impenetrable that there are times it seemed they would never work.
When the past brings them closer together they must decide to go all in or walk away for good!

So good

I really like this series, but Shadow and Dani are still my favorites. I cannot wait to listen to Lip and Cherry's story.

Entertaining

I am enjoying this series. Bobby and Jessica’s story is intense, frustrating, and seductively entertaining.

Great Book to listen to

This is about the Road Captain Bobby he lives his life like no tomorrow until he meets a woman name Jessica then everything chances. Jessica is the only woman that puts Bobby in his place because she tells him no when he wants to her to go out with him. Jessica is running from a bad relationship and she ran to the club for them to help her and her daughter out and she will help them out by being their doctor when they need one. Now would be the best time to buy the book to find out what happens to the people in the book it is worth it. I will be reading more form this author.
