Part three and still great!

I love this series. With each sequel I worried it wouldn’t live up to the first. But each book has done just that. All are different but all are good. It’s not a series you can start at any point because so much of the story builds on the book or books before. They kept the same narrator for all three books and she’s really good. Loads of adventures and puzzles and excitement. Really a pleasure to listen to and absorb.

OMG, this is the best ending to a trilogy in a long time

So freaking good! I really hope that Jennifer Lynn Barnes makes books about Avery‘s golden ticket game in the future so we know what happens however, it is really fun thinking of what the possibilities could be on your own, but it was a great ending to a trilogy and a truly unique story that told the world what it really needs to hear right now fortunate green I never a good thing they are corrupted and they crept up and giving and caring about your Fellow human being should be our biggest priority and not for other countries but for our own!

The FINAL Gambit

What a brilliant and addictive ending to this series. Salacious and intriguing this “finale” to the mystery was one of the best yet. Learning more about each piece of the puzzle we as an audience are taught so much more about family, greed, wealth and power. It really speaks to the authors care for her characters when she writes them so multifaceted. It is a true statement about how the bridges we burn and the expectations we have in life are only that. This story really solidified the idea that the only thing that is certain in this world in the end; is death. I love Avery’s character so much and her fire is something that I love that author hasn’t diminished or gotten lazy with throughout the series. Her relationship with each of the Hawthorne brothers continues to be complex and endearing. Even her relationship to the new “pawn on the board” is very realistic and well written. Who do you trust? Can you even trust yourself? The ending was beautiful and I loved it. It is every bit creative and hopeful as it can be. I hope if you are considering reading you don’t hesitate long because I very much look forward to The Brothers Hawthorne. I am waiting for this to become of phenomenon of a movie series as well.

This trilogy was hard for me to get started, but grew to LOVE!

I almost stopped reading the first book fifteen times and only continued for book club!
Very slow start, but soon thereafter, I fell in love with the characters, the story, and most of all the puzzles!

Great trilogy!

Everyone has three names and nicknames and they are referred to different through the books, which was a little confusing at times, but didn’t detract from the great storyline!
