Wholesome story of friends and family

The storyline of each couple is quite fast-developing. It is wholesome and takes on a more innocent telling of their stories. The family and friends dynamic is awesome, but the romantic development leaves me wanting more :( sometimes it’s hard for me to connect with the romantic themes of all three stories because I feel like the writing wouldn’t allow for a deeper telling of their connections and that kind of took away the potential strength of each couple.

The third book kind of frustrated me when Jim/James came into the picture. It was incredibly juvenile and disrespectful to me the way Trudy just kind of entertained a new job from him. Yikes.

The voice actors were awesome and really brought the stories to life between all the characters, especially the kids. The biggest factor for me listening was for the voice actors and they did not disappoint. I just was really left wanting more from the story and I hate saying that.

Steam factor is .5/5 very very wholesome story which I don’t always hate! I don’t need smut for a strong story but the development and themes seemed more suitable for a teen gal’s shelf or for mamas who like absolutely no deep romance themes. Don’t regret it, but I wiiiiished for just a deeper telling of each story because the potential was there.
