Story
Misconceptions, misunderstandings, and flawed facts finally get the heave-ho in this humorous, downright humiliating book of reeducation based on the phenomenal British best seller. Challenging what most of us assume to be verifiable truths in areas like history, literature, science, nature, and more, The Book of General Ignorance is a witty “gotcha” compendium of how little we actually know about anything. It’ll have you scratching your head wondering why we even bother to go to school.

Interesting but not for a binge reader like me.
-Story-
This book doesn't really have an overarching story, so I am going to judge it on the merit of the factoids and trivia it contained. In that reguard it was hit and miss, hitting more often than missing fortunately. I would say about an 80/20 split between interesting to forgettable bits. That said I use audible to binge books hours at a time so for a reader like myself who plans on listening to something for a long stretch this particular books style where it gives short bits then moves on to completely unrelated stuff was a bit taxing to get through.
-Narrator-
Bill O'Neill was excellent for his part, for me he was the thing that kept me coming back to listen for another stretch. Total kudos to him for a wonderful performance.
-TL;DR-
Interesting stuff with no real thread between them. Probly good for a short 10-20 minute listen here and there, but not great if you want to sit down and listen to the book for a few hours.

Informative and entertaining
I absolutely love this book. There are so many fun facts in it. While some are random facts, others are stories that have backgrounds in folklore. I especially liked how the narration was conversational and with a hint of humour. Also, the stories are introduced in a fun manner that builds up an expectation about the knowledge to be revealed. I would say listening to this book while working, driving, or doing any other constructive activity is a great way to make that activity fun. I will definitely listen to it over and over again.
P.S. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and I have voluntarily left this review.

Best trivia book.
As described, this book is fun and comes with so many random facts. While some people might be used to following a specific train of information, this book just pops up interesting facets about the most unexpected things. I think a great way is to listen to a bit at different times in the day. That way, you are always learning something new and completely random. Where can you use this random knowledge? Well, it's up to you. Family trivias, game nights, etc. Either way, this book offers a great way to pass time while learning. Also, it is well-narrated.
I requested for a free copy of this book for a review. This review is solely motivated by my opinion and will.

Fun as in useless really (I paid for this book)
Much of the knowledge so far is pretty much useless and uninteresting to me. From the audio, the facts are intermingled with no apparent structure so difficult to classify from audio or remember anything anyway. My Uninteresting is someone else's Fun, hopefully it's yours.
PS- I actually paid for this book and felt compelled to warn others- and now reading the other reviews wondering what I'm missing, looks like I'm the only one.

All the things you wish you knew, and more!
Have u ever tried to figure out why something is how it is? What prompted the use of certain tools, or objects, or the origin of some weird names? If this is you, then this is a great book for you. This book is just full of completely random, yet relevant facts. Also, these facts are not specific to a small locality or region, but from across the world (and many civilizations by implication). Fun stuff.
I got a free copy of this audiobook, and I have left this unbiased review in return.
