A one-man team of experts, Stephen Leeds is a genius of unparalleled mental capabilities who can learn new skills or master entire scholarly disciplines in mere hours. However, these skills come at a price. Stephen must compartmentalize his brain, with each of his new skill sets being held by an “aspect”—a hallucination his mind creates with their own fully-developed personality, life, and limitations. Without these aspects, and the delicate construct of reality they provide for him, Stephen is unable to control his mind and engage with the real world.

Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter. It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor.

Those who had ruled under them, men and women with a lesser ability known as the Gift, avoided the Augurs' fate only by submitting themselves to the rebellion's Four Tenets.

Story
The author of the Mistborn trilogy and Elantris, Brandon Sanderson is winning abundant praise for this rollicking - and unusual - tale. Alcatraz Smedry can’t exactly be described as someone who doesn’t break things. In fact, he breaks lots of things. The truth is, he’s a major klutz. Breaking things, however, might just be the ace in the hole he needs when he goes up against a cabal of nefarious (gasp!) librarians.

Story
In 1765, Michael Fallon, an Irishman on the run from brutal English overlords, makes his way to Charleston, South Carolina, as an indentured servant. Bound over to Thomas Carver, a successful merchant, he quickly shows a knack for trade - and a disturbing attraction to Carver's beautiful, sensual daughter, Elizabeth. With luck and intelligence - and not without bloodshed - he rises into the rice-planting aristocracy of the Carolina Lowcountry, where a frontier spirit pulses beneath the superficial trappings of an agrarian society that is heading rapidly toward revolution.

Wonderful - (but incomplete)
I've listened to Michael & Kate read all 12 books, some books more than 3 times. It was so odd to hear "Rand's voice" answering questions about reading books :)
This interview is another great snippet into the world that Jordan created but has been enhanced by artists like Michael and Kate.
thanks
P.S. The interview cuts off abruptly, in mid sentence at 12 minutes. Audible, please re-record the complete interview.

what a delight to get to know the narrators
I had no idea the narrators of these stories were married, and the knowledge brings a whole new dimension to the interplay between the female and male voices in the books. I also loved getting to know them a little bit better, and hearing about some of the challenges of reading these stories.

Truncated
I was very intrigued when I saw this become available - after having listened to Kramer/Reading's excellent narration of the entire series, I had been growing more curious about the thoughts of the narrators.
The interview was interesting enough - though a bit repetitive. Most frustrating is that it abruptly comes to an end, and seems quite incomplete. It's almost like it was cut short, perhaps with further questions and answers left out.
