Publisher's Summary
From the author of the number-one best-selling The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay
All of our favourite characters from Cockleberry Bay are back in this final, heartwarming story in the series. Including Hot, Rosa Smith's adorable dachshund and his newborn puppies.
Now successfully running the Cockleberry Café and wishing to start a family herself, Rosa feels the time is right to let her inherited Corner Shop go. However, her benefactor left one important legal proviso: that the shop cannot be sold, only passed on to somebody who really deserves it.
Rosa is torn. How can she make such a huge decision? And will it be the right one? Once the news gets out and goes public, untrustworthy newcomers appear in the Bay...their motives uncertain. With the revelation of more secrets from Rosa's family heritage, a new journey of unpredictable and life-changing events begins to unfold.
The Gift of Cockleberry Bay concludes this phenomenally successful series in typically brisk and bolshy style and will delight the many thousands of Rosa's fans.

Beautiful
Having read all 3 books from the series, loved each one of them.
Lovely read/listen and narrated well
Each book gave a good story throughout, humorous at times, normal life’s ups and downs at times and twists and turns along the way. Warmed to all characters, sad for it to end but enjoyed very much

fantastic!!
This is the third book in the lovely Cockleberry Bay series. In this novel we still have many original characters and we meet several unexpected new ones. Rosa is still happily running and living at the corner shop. Aswell, as part owning the local cafe. Rosa and her husband have now decided they want to start a family. Sadly, that means they need more space and time. Therefore, it is now time to decide who will be gifted the corner shop?
This novel is full of laughter, Joy, friendship and happiness. The majority of the characters are loveable and multi dimensional. I felt a connection with Rosa (protagonist), like I genuinely knew the character throughout the series. There is many twists of turns, which kept me hooked to read more.
There was several moments where I 'laughed out loud'; especially at 'Vegan Vera'.
The ending was magical! I believe it is really difficult to get a perfect ending. Yet, I feel Nicola has nailed it!
The only downside is that it can be 'sickly' romantic at times. Especially between Rosa and her husband.
Audio/Narrator - Danielle Cohen. Clear, Full of emotion and I could mostly tell between characters.
Triggers - Death of a parent, Alcoholic & Miscarriage.
This is one of my favourite series's. I highly recommend this book series to anyone who enjoys similar genres.

A brilliant story. You can see how all 3 books were planned. It rounds most things off but at the same time leaves you wanting more. Thank goodness there is a fourth book.
NEWS I messaged the author and there is no confirmation but she is not ruling out a book 5 returning to cockleberry bay in 2022. Fingers crossed!
