Great series!

highly recommend all 6 books. very easy to get lost in the story. my imagination hasn't been this fulfilled in years! simply extraordinary. great author and amazing narrator! thank you both for this series. sad to be done with it after only a week or so... (listening to books all day long while I drive for work is probably the best choice I've made in quite some time. the radio only plays trash music these days anyhow...well, except for my oldies and classic stations...but those I've heard thousands of times so getting back to books has been a great change of pace! thanks again!

I just couldn't binge listening!

Excellently written and preformed! I went from book to book with out a pause. Usually in these long series the story begins to lag, you feel like fast forwarding to the good stuff. Not in this series, each book continues the saga with unexpected surprises through each chapter that kept me need to see what happens next. The closure, when your done you feel fully satisfied. The author wraps up so well, leaving you a satisfied vision of how each character and sub plot walk on into the sunset of a new future. There are zero, but what happened to ... I really enjoyed this series. Looking forward to seeing what else this author has in store!

Sad it is over.

I loved this story. All six books were such a nice escape from the fantasy fair of late. Quite the enjoyable twist at the end.

Keeps getting better

I started this book because the first three book were free. I’d buy the rest if I liked it. I’ve never listened to 6 books without getting board. This is a fantastic book and narration. Both the author and narrator are one of my favorite. I’m so excited for the next two books

Phenomenal! Superb!

All the adulation I can manage to heap upon Book 6 of the "Godling Chronicles" seems like a small boon compared to the utter joy and satisfaction I have experienced in this amazing tale.

Friendship forged from bonds that deity and eternity could not sunder, world threatening war that would quell the bravest soul, unimaginable hardships endured for virtue, plot twists and turns that challenged any seat to keep the reader from its edge...this was a mighty tale indeed, a worthy sonnet to days gone past when heroes were forged in steel, and worlds built from the ashes. Well done Brian Anderson, you have accomplished a master piece in every way in the writing of this saga.
Well done

Great set of books.

The full set of books gave me hours of enjoyment. Plot twist right to the very last chapter kept me guessing. The negative could only have been made better, if a woman performed the female roles.

Good but…..

I found that despite some boredom setting in with the constant repetitive explanation of feelings etc that I can say I enjoyed these books. I wanted to know the outcome of all the wars and dangers faced. I feel the books would have benefited from a tighter storyline that removed some of the repetition of feelings. It would have been more exciting with a faster pace. I’m not saying remove these entirely but certainly shorten them. The characters come to life and I can envision this world. I wish we had understood earlier the dark knights background as it would have made the war more real knowing his motivations which in truth were entirely understandable from his point of view. However surely, being a god, the loving Guwee would have known or at the least guessed who the dark knight was and why he went in his warpath becoming evil yet beginning with purer justifiable intentions.
I’m glad I’ve finished but will refrain from books 7 & 8 as currently am bored with the language. The narration from Derek Perkins was as usual excellent.
Not a patch on The Name of the Wind but fair. Could have been greater by far with a tighter edit.

I love this series

I listened from book 1 to the last with avid delight. I was never disinterested or felt the author was prattling on. My only complaint is there is no more! That said I believe it ended well and I feel all the better for having experienced it.
