Story
For centuries, the only way to access God’s word was to hear it read aloud in public gatherings. Today, many are blessed to own personal printed copies of the Bible, but there is a surprising benefit to hearing the Scriptures read aloud as it was for so many generations. Verses you have read many times will impact you in a new way when you hear them through the Listener’s Audio Bible (NIV). Read in a single voice with subtle background music, Max McLean’s skillful, engaging, but never over-dramatized style will bring the complete Bible to life.

BOOK AND CHAPTER HEADINGS NEEDED!!!
Would you try another book from King James Version and/or David Cochran Heath?
yes definitley
What other book might you compare The Holy Bible in Audio - King James Version to and why?
Alexander Scourby's edition without music back ground is the PERFECT Bible audio file but it seems it is not being offered anywhere that I can find. This edition is very well done in every respect except that it lacks the book and or Chapter divisions making it nearly impossible to navigate.
Have you listened to any of David Cochran Heath’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
no but he is an exceptional reader.
Could you see The Holy Bible in Audio - King James Version being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
no
Any additional comments?
This is an incredible recording SOMEONE NEEDS to take the time to make the BOOK and CHAPTER devisions so that it can be navigated easily. It was already done with the Alexander Scourby edition many years ago, I'm pretty sure with todays technology it can easily be done again. I explored buying the books individually but they read as one large file with no chapter divisions, SO frustrating. Really hope someone will fix this problem. I would line up to buy it. Thanks

no way to navigate
What disappointed you about The Holy Bible in Audio - King James Version?
This audiobook downloads as ten files with no way to visually distinguish what is covered in each file and all have the same graphic. I didn't expect there to be any intuitive way to navigate an audio book, but surely they could appropriately label each file? Whoever orginized this download clearly does not read the bible or they would know what incredible inconvenience this causes. Something as simple as making each graphic a little different (e.g. Gen-Lev, Num-Jud,) would be adequate. As it is, there's no way to tell which section of the book you're opening. I cannot believe I had to give a bad review, one star rating and return the bible of all things. Very poorly executed, audible, and an insult.
What other book might you compare The Holy Bible in Audio - King James Version to and why?
There is no comparison
What didn’t you like about David Cochran Heath’s performance?
His performance is excellent
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger due to the format in which it is presented, zero navigation.
Any additional comments?
I'm speechless at this point, am returning the book

The One Complaint
The book is broken down into multiple separate downloadable sections. Fine. However, they are labeled only with numbers. Try navigating to a particular book or passage in a book. You will quickly discover my complaint. Each download section should at least be labeled with the starting and ending book and chapter.
Other than that, the narration was very good and of course the story was AWESOME.

navigation difficult
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
yes! Very worthwhile as is every Bible.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
What difference does this make?
Any additional comments?
Some of these questions are inane to the Bible. This particular audio book, being the "Bible", is difficult to navigate on the Audible site. A person needs to be able to swing back and forth from one chapter to another and verse to verse in almost every instance, instead of having to search the over one thousand chapters to make a reference. I have never had occasion to read the Bible when I didn't need to do just that to properly understand the Word.

The layout of the book needs improving
Cannot open chapter list without playing a track, we should be able like others books to open the book parts and then hear only the chapter we have selected to play. Also there needs to be individual books rather than three of four together, as it’s time consuming to scroll down all of the chapters of each book before getting to what we want

No way to find books or Chapters
Sadly the way they have done this audio book is not very good as you can not find a particular book to listen to, it's very hard to find the place you were at as it starts at the beginning if you loose your place... the one who Narrated this book is the best I've ever heard... The Bible is The Best Book ever... but the layout of this audio is not done very well... I recommend getting a MP3 KJV Bible and add it to your music folder in which I have done... if they should ever fix the issues it would be one of the best audio Bible books ever.... I hope they let me if they do fix the issues....

Comments: Narrator was very soothing, his tones varied as required. This overcame my concentration issues,

Religion
I enjoy the bible in it's older forms, not confused nor rewritten or interpreted to justify blasphemy.

Divide into Chapters
If the sections were broken into books of the Bible for example Genesis to Numbers. the books of the Bible could be divided into Old and New testaments.

Unedited audio
Loads of errors in audio which is very annoying. Quite obviously unedited, sentences repeated, coughing and long gaps.

Poor for scripture search
How do you find your way around this? Not user friendly. It should have a listing of all books, with link to the chosen section.

LOVED IT!
Great book!
Fantastic free gift inside; very excited!
I even hear the author is going to be making a personal appearance soon! How great is that?
Will definitely be watching and waiting for it. Would hate to be "left behind" on that one!
