lacking humanity

This book has good tips. You can find most of them online or on the BP podcast. What bothers me is how myopic the author sounds. A lot of his priorities seem to be imprinted in this book. He goes as far as to suggest to the reader not to listen to the news because it is a waste of time and that time can be spent making more money. Author sounds young and naive with self serving, borderline sociopathic, tendencies.

unrealistic and repetitive

Worst of all the BP books produced. ALL relevant of the information is just repeated from other BP RE books anything else is common sense. All real life examples are completely unrealistic compared to the average person. "this is so and so, a fresh 23 year old college grad making 70k a year, can only afford 3.5% down" give me a break. is this HGTV???

Pleasantly Surprised!

This is a great book. I read a review before buying that said it contained a lot of obvious information. I've been investing for four years and the book told me plenty I didn't know and gave me some great ideas. I'm also getting the hard copy so I have a reference to go back to.

Too Basic

If you’re proactive in doing your research the information in this book is a bit too basic to be of much use. Still, it’s a good pep talk.

Practical and Motivational

As a newbie to the concept of house hacking I felt that I needed a book that thoroughly explains the concept and “how-to” steps to do it. This book hit the mark!!! I feel much better educated and super motivated to get going. Thanks Craig!

Not as much utility as other books and videos

I didn't gain as much from this book than I thought I would. There are better educational sources
