Publisher's Summary

He’s hot. He’s deadly. And he’s hunting me.

Rath K’zar is an alien bounty hunter - the best in the universe. I’m his admin assistant. I send him his bounties, and I process his payments. I know him better than anybody. He doesn’t know I exist.

I have dreamed about him every night for months. You could call it a crush, or a fixation, or maybe an obsession. Whatever. I never thought it would amount to anything. Then there was a misunderstanding at work...

I became the galaxy’s most wanted overnight. Now he’s hunting me. Nobody escapes Rath K’zar. He’s merciless. He doesn’t care about innocence. He cares about the bounty. And my name is on his list.

Short and good

I found this story good overall. Some interesting concepts and a newer twist on the alien male takes human female standards. However, some of it felt out of order with rushed flashbacks and odd omissions. I really expected a bit more but I'm guessing the author lost steam or it ended up on the editing floor.

The narration was ok. I've heard better, but they were fine to me. I do think some people would be put off by Kai's cadence or Wen's tone so maybe listen to the sample first to get an idea. As far as dual narration, I'm not sure why they bothered because the majority of the book is voiced by Kai Kennicot. There are only 2 or 3 very short chapters from Rath's point of view so it was almost jarring when Wen's voice began narrating. Seriously, I think he voiced less than an hour of this short book so it was an odd choice to do dual narration.

Surprisingly good story...Recommended

Just when you think you have this all figured out, there's a twist. Something just a little unexpected. This story has strong lead characters (no whining...thank God) and believable plot twists. I loved it. I hope there's more coming to Audible. I've been afan for years.
