She’s a baker without a kitchen. He’s got a double oven to spare. It’s a recipe for success, until his mother starts stirring up trouble....

Cassie Jordan has a sweet dream to open a bakery specializing in wedding cakes. The problem is, the Airstream trailer where she lives has a kitchen the size of a postage stamp, and her job as housekeeper for a vacation rental agency doesn’t pay enough for her to find other arrangements.

When the renters at one of the houses in her care cancel their stay, leaving the house empty and its top-of-the-line kitchen unused, who could blame her for seeing it as an opportunity? But Cassie’s unsavory plan starts to look like a mistake when the owner’s son shows up unannounced, catching her with her pants down - literally.

If Cassie can sweet-talk her way out of trouble, setting up her business might be a piece of cake. If not, it’s going to be a bitter setback....

Fantastic story!💜

This story was so much fun and hilariously entertaining. I have to say there were a couple things I tried to predict and got it wrong so I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the chemistry between them as well as the family drama. The narration was absolutely brilliant. Both Avie Paige & Travis Baldree did a fantastic job bringing these fun & snarky characters to life. I loved every minute of it.
I highly recommend this book!

Sweet Romance

The Icing on the cake was written by Linda Seed. The audiobook was narrated by Avie Paige and Travis Baldree. I truly enjoyed listening to the dual narration the two presented having the story come alive. Both narrators found a way to make their parts come to life in different ways. Their change in voices adding to the character performances were fantastic. This was the first time listening to either of these narrators, but as an author myself I would love to hear more of their work. I definitely enjoyed the way the audiobook came together. I would have loved to hear if Travis only took on the male voices and Avie did the rest including narration. I feel this might have made the storyline pop more. Both enunciated and changed their characters voices to be distinctive on who was speaking. Saying this was just another way I would enjoy listening to the book. As it is, I recommend the story and both these narrators for future books. I look forward to seeing what else is out there by the author and narrators. The Icing on the cake is a story I will be relistening to often. I love rereading great stories. I feel the paperback is great, but the audiobook lets the reader create a movie in their mind as they listen to the performances of these talented narrators. I was hooked the moment I pressed play.
A brilliant baker got creative when she needed a bigger kitchen to bake a wedding cake. Cassie Jordan specializes in wedding cakes for her dream to have her own bakery. Unfortunately, at the moment she resides in an airstream with limited means for a kitchen. Her main job as a house keeper for vacation rentals, presented her the opportunity to create her magic in a more spacious kitchen. Unfortunately, no one told her the owner’s son would be occupying the rental. Who was more surprised to find the house not vacant? Would Cassie be able to sweet talk her way out trespassing? Grab the book today and enjoy this sweet romance that kept me on edge on whether Cassie’s dreams would be shattered or come true. Enjoy and read today!

A lovely holiday read

A delightfully sweet story about two people lacking confidence and finding the strength within each other to finally reach for their dreams. Hers was a cake business and his, to belong and feel loved.
