So good

This is one of the best series I’ve listened to on audible and I have over 400 audiobooks in my library. I highly recommend it

so glad to finally get the 3rd book!

Alright so I was very disappointed at first to see Peter Ganim wasn't narrating this series anymore (author went with Garrett Brown to redo the series). That said, Garrett does a great job and keeps the tone similar to Peter's which really helped me enjoy listening to both books again before getting to the third. Narration aside, I really enjoyed this series and Craig's writing style is always such a pleasure to read/listen to. Really great ending to the series!

Great Series

I don’t know how many books I’ve read or listened to in my life. A lot of them were great reads but different in their own way and this book series falls into that category. As far as a zombie book series goes this has been the best. Unique and surprising. Great characters right off the rip and they continue to change and develop all the way to the end. The narrator was also good and was never boring or singular in his voices. Also there was no guessing who would live or die or how the series would end. Loved it and hated for it to end honestly. Goes on my list as something I would listen to again in the future.

Not just a lame zombie book

This is a zombie book, but it also has true blue sci-fi elements and it’s not just gore and nothing else. Really glad I bought the whole triology for one credit though.

Excellent series

I love ZomPoc and have listened to most of the series that exist out there - good or bad - and I do tend to lose interest once the books get from surviving to living with the problems. I found these books and their unique take on what was actually causing the zombies to be really interesting and well written! I found the ending surprising but good. Would suggest the read.

Cool Take on the Zombie Apocalypse

I liked this book series. I appreciated the novel take on the familiar zombie/infected apocalyptic scenario. we get some monsters, mutants and bad ass survivors in this series.

Good performance but bad writing

The premise had potential, but after 3 hours of listening nothing happens. There are a couple characters fleshed out in flashbacks but there is no narrative flow or conflict (other than OMG zombies!) to move the plot. Do not care enough to invest more time.

Just drama

Just keeps going on and on. More drama than anything. Put me to sleep twice. Seems like it talks about everything but the infection.

Good If Difficult To Follow

🧡 A good, solid multi-storyline post-apocalyptic tale that’s on the bleaker end of the humanity-really-sucks scale. But I did struggle to keep a grip on the goings ons after the first book.

SOUNDBITE

🎧 This could be a good audiobook, but in my opinion it needs multiple narrators to achieve it. I counted at least 10 separate character viewpoints as well as multiple timelines and locations. So, while Garrett Michael Brown is a decent, expressive narrator, he didn’t stand a chance of helping my addled brain keep track of all that. I think that would have required multiple distinct voices.

🎧 I have to commend the producer’s valiant labelling efforts on the chapter headings. Each one does state which character is talking and the setting.
