Publisher's Summary

More than 75,000 copies sold! Cell towers, Wi-Fi, 5G: Electricity has shaped the modern world. But how has it affected our health and environment?

Over the last 220 years, society has evolved a universal belief that electricity is "safe" for humanity and the planet. Scientist and journalist Arthur Firstenberg disrupts this conviction by telling the story of electricity in a way it has never been told before - from an environmental point of view - by detailing the effects that this fundamental societal building block has had on our health and our planet.

In The Invisible Rainbow, Firstenberg traces the history of electricity from the early 18th century to the present, making a compelling case that many environmental problems, as well as the major diseases of industrialized civilization - heart disease, diabetes, and cancer - are related to electrical pollution.

Lot's of conspiracy myths

Bummer. I was just drawn by the title and didn't read any reviews before I bought it. The first 25% of the book start ok with some history but then turns into conspiracy stuff. Waste of time. I'm not finishing it. Narration is great though.

This will turn your view of health upside down. This is a must read for truth seekers.

Not for the faint of heart or the close minded. This book is a deep history lesson of the ongoing experimental use of electricity on the planet.

Very interesting

I have a very new perspective than before I listened to this book.

I am not sure as a the world pushes forward that it could ever go back.

A lot of evidence and data to support all of what he is saying. I think this is a well documented work.

Dedicated His Life to Save Ours, Thank You

One of my children and my sister are suffering from EMFs, ELFs, & Dirty Electricity.
The health consequences they suffer with are horrendous and impeccably documented.

I discovered in 2003
how their illnesses are medically downplayed with fraudulent junk science, which is heavily sourced here.

Also, chapter 7 explains how we are in our current "COVID 19" pandemic.
Author dedicated his life to save ours, Thank You.

MUST LISTEN

If anyone is curious on why obesity, cancer, and chronic diseases are on the rise. This book discusses one of the major health threats of our generation that health officials seem to dismiss and are ignorant of. Health isn’t as simple as diet and exercise and this book goes into one of the most dangerous environmental toxins out there, yet it’s invisible to the human eye.

Fascinating & Enlightening

Perhaps one of the best books ever written on the topic. The author gathered facts, dates, and the results of many scientific studies, then sifted them all together into an intriguing and relatable story of the history of electricity. Highly recommended for anyone interested in health and healing. Would give 10 stars, if I could!

A superb, comprehensive explanation of widespread sickness!

A thorough and extensive account of the mountains of evidence that’s pretty much being suppressed by those with less than scrupulous, some might say evil intent.

Our whole world needs root and branch reform and separation of corporatism and the welfare of not just people but animals and even plants. We just cannot continue on this path. We either change ditection or nature will reclaim the earth back - minus the humsn race. I can’t recommend enough.

Real Eye Opener

I have known about the issues of wireless networks since I saw Beings of Frequency more than 10 years ago. After reading this book suddenly I am acutely aware as to why Dr. Thomas Cowan and Sally Fallon Morrell hypothesise that the rollout of 5G at the same time as the leak in Wuhan played a key role in the "pandemic" I would highly recommend it to anyone concerned about their health.

very well researched, interesting, and concerning

this book is very thorough. listening to it will give you a very solid understanding on the subject. I have to praise the narrator who is extremely eloquent, I don't know how he managed to pronounce all of the tricky foreign names of the researchers and scientists so perfectly as well, hats off to him! this book almost lost a star because I was hoping after the many many hours of listening, the last chapter would give tips/info/help on how we can protect ourselves to some extent. there was no such information shared. just a warning at how devastating 5G will be If it's implemented (and of course, it now ia). I know we can't escape it, but some kind of knowledge on how to help fight the effects and protect ourselves and our family's in any way would have been a much much better end to this book. I left it at 5stars however because this book did not claim to be a "help". it was a HISTORY Of electricity. I will go to podcasts to find interviews with the author to see if he has more to add now. definitely worth the listen If you want to fully understand this topic.

Bizarre ramblings

Firstenberg has obviously done a lot of reading on the topics which he is writing about but has cherry-picked results to substantiate his bizarre theories.
He is very quick to infer causation from correlation of seemingly unlinked phenomena of they support his theories.
Some of the history is interesting but I'm wary of how accurate it is due to his tendency to cherry pick.
