Moving story
It is not often you read a story that makes you think about what it is to love so greatly you lose yourself . Simply not true right! But sometimes when you look at what that looks like after stepping back you don’t grow weaker from it but stronger. I love how Lucinda layers her story so your getting multiple stories that all merge together with a beautiful ending. Will miss this beautiful lady and her extraordinary writing. Rest In Peace Lucinda Riley

One of the best audiobooks I have ever listened to! This was a powerful, emotionally rich and gripping story of love, family, and music. I listened to Riley’s “Seven Sisters” series and loved it, as well, but this has been my favorite of all her books. Each character was so well-developed. If you like family sagas, travel, music, and love stories, do not miss this one!

Gorgeous story about the Opera
I’ve come to this book after first reading the Seven Sisters series and then The Midnight Rose by Lucinda Riley. I rated those books all 5 stars overall because they were just perfection.
So I’ve had to rate this book a 4 simply because I didn’t enjoy it quite as much as Lucinda’s other works. In saying that I did still enjoy it thoroughly and loved the Opera story line.

My first Lucinda Riley audio book
I love Lucinda Riley’s books. This is the first audio version I have read. The narrators accents (American and Italian) are a little annoying, but if you can get past that then it’s a captivating book. Not my favourite story of hers but still excellent and I was unable to “put it down”.

I really enjoyed the story but the narration almost spoilt it: mistakes in which voice to use for which text occasionally and I didn't enjoy the tone of the narrator. I see this is an early book from Lucinda which may explain the predictable conversations between characters. She has clearly matured.

Something a bit different
Whilst I enjoyed the story with it's various twists, I found the narration painful to listen to.
