Publisher's Summary
He's a charming con man and she's a dedicated FBI agent, and they're about to drive each other crazy . . . again!
The FBI had one demand when they secretly teamed up Special Agent Kate O'Hare with charming con man Nicolas Fox - bring down the world's most-wanted and untouchable felons. This time it's the brutal leader of a global drug-smuggling empire. The FBI doesn't know what their target looks like, where he is, or how to find him, but Nick Fox has a few tricks up his sleeve to roust this particular Knipschildt chocolate-loving drug lord.
From the streets of Nashville to the back alleys of Lisbon, from the rooftops of Istanbul to the middle of the Thames, Nick and Kate chase their mark. When they find themselves pitted against a psychopathic bodyguard and a Portuguese enforcer who gets advice from a pickled head, they decide it's time to enlist some special talent - talent like a machete-wielding Somali pirate, a self-absorbed actor, an Oscar-winning special effects artist, and Kate's father Jake, a retired Special Forces operative. Together they could help make this Fox and O'Hare's biggest win yet . . . if they survive.

Interesting and entertaining
The story caught my interest and was entertaining and at times funny. It wasn't roll on the floor type funny but it had enough humour mixed in with the plot to keep it light. Waiting for the next book!!

Yawn
All I can say about this book is that is really hard to get in to and I rewound and rewound but just can't finish it. It was not bad enough to return but it just didn't hold my interest. The book centers around an art thief who is not the real thief and the authorities who soon realize someone is trying to make them believe it is him. Lots of murders...twists and turns but they somehow seem disconnected...at least in my opinion. Not one of her best. The narrator was good and the book is not totally without merit, but just not that interesting to me.

The Job is not that good a job
This book falls short in entertainment value compared to the other two books in the Fox and O'Hare series. The action parts were good. The con was detailed and dangerous. The part that is lacking is the relationship(s) building. All the interactions between the main characters, as well as the rest of the nutty crew, were too brief and inconsequential. In sum, the lack of further character development was unsatisfying. Though it earned a 2 with me, I'm still hooked and waiting for book 4.

I loved it!
Any additional comments?
The Job, is another fast paced action packed story, that is as exciting and funny as the previous books. The story travels from one part of the globe, to the next. The main goal is to bring down one of the world’s worst criminals. Nick puts together the perfect con; with the help of Kate, her father, and several other colorful characters they’ve collected along the way.
The father/daughter relationship and banter between Kate and Jake is so funny, I love it! The only relationship I love more is between Nick and Kate, with all their pent up sexual frustration.
I have been listening to this series and I have loved Scott Brick’s delivery and I hope he remains throughout the series. There is nothing else to say other than I loved it....Sara

Fox & O'Hare: Light and fun thrillers!
I finally got around to listening to The Job, the only book in the Fox and O'Hare series I had not read. For those not familiar with the series Nick Fox is the world's most audacious con man and Kate O'Hare is the FBI agent who finally captured him. Fox is now working with the FBI running scams on dangerous criminals to bring them to justice. Kate's dad, a retired ex-military man with lots of borderline legal contacts, plays a major part. There is also Willie a 50ish woman who craves driving any vehicle on land, sea or air without training or a license, a talent bit part actor, and others.
Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg are both excellent writers with lost of good novels. The collaborate in this series. The icing on the cake is having Scott Brick narrate.
