Great book about how Keto can improve your health
When I began a low-carb way of life in January 2016, I had no clue what I was doing. I had slow, moderate weight loss success but still felt pretty clueless. Then in July 2016 I googled Low Carb Diets and found the Diet Doctor website where I learned about the Low Carb High Fat way of eating, sugar addiction and how a ketogenic lifestyle could be the answer to not only weight loss, but improved overall mental and physical health. Then I discovered Jimmy Moore’s book Keto Clarity, which 1:) blew my mind, 2.) made me realize all the dietary lies I had been told by my government and our American healthcare system, and 3.) answered all my questions about the health benefits and myths about low carb diets and FAT. Two years later, I have easily maintained my 30 lb weight loss and am no longer a carbaholic. This whole food, low carb, moderate protein, high healthy fat way of eating is delicious and has improved my overall health. As a podcast listener of Jimmy Moore and Doc Nally on Keto Talk, I looked forward to this book. It goes in depth into the various ways a keyogemic lifetsyle can cure many diseases of civilization and help diminish others. If you are new to Keto, I advise reading Keto Clarity first. Oh, and one more thing... Maria Emmerich’s recipes in the PDF look scrumptious!

Wish Nally had read it himself
Jimmy Moore is a fantastic narrator when he's taking his own works, but in this book it felt like I was in the fifth grade, listening to a classmate read from the text book. I eventually just borrowed the print copy from the library and read it on my own.

Ignore the Slams
I’ve purchased several books with Mr. Moore narrating, and have found them all incredibly insightful. For each of those, I’ve read reviews citing poor narration.
These errors are rare, and when noticed, not massively distracting from Mr. Moore’s work.
I’ve yet come across a person who has done everything perfectly. The anecdotal, well-enunciated, clearly explained, well-researched and referenced, information the narrator provides is incredibly helpful. It is also valid and reliable information. I’ve taken my mg/dL from 130-165 to 80-90,and my brother-in-law is 75lbs+ lighter than he was in January.
If you want to learn, read this. If you want to listen to nonsense, pay attention to the complains about narration.

It was a cheap book and now I know why. Many repeated phrases. The reader is not good at all. Very robotic and uncomfortable

Great Book
Lots of information. Started off great. Didn't take long to hear what i wanted to hear. pretty much strait forward.. Makes me wonder if carbohydrates shortens our life span? Assuming people lived for 800 years according to the Bible and some other history books. If that is true could cave men have lived longer? Through generations after the discovery of grains as the first carb life became shorter? Someone, even this author, please investigate the possibility. I would love to know. It has always been my theory that cooked foods shortened our life span but after hearing this book, I think Carbs is the culprit. Started Keto June 1st 2019.

Very informative!

Horrible Editing
The only thing about this audiobook that’s really worth commenting on is how poorly it was edited. The narrator repeated sentences, clearly he read it , stopped and read it again. He occasionally read the wrong word. I know they did edit it because there are dubbed sections - but seriously I cannot Believe someone would publish something in this condition.

This is a medical text book
I was hoping for a book about how to eat a keto diet. This is many chapters of detailed medical explainations, in a medical language that can only be interpreted by doctors. It has very little on what a keto diet is. Listen to this book if you're interested in hearing a whole chapter on gout.
