Publisher's Summary

Jobless and forced home to Wisconsin, journalist Sabrina Monroe can tolerate reunions with frenemies and kisses from old boyfriends, but not the literal ghosts that greet her in this heartwarming tale of the power of love and connection from acclaimed author Amy E. Reichert.

For Sabrina Monroe, moving back home to the Wisconsin Dells - the self-described Waterpark Capital of the World - means returning to the Monroe family curse: The women in her family can see spirits who come to them for help with unfinished business. But Sabrina's always redirected the needy spirits to her mom, who's much better suited for the job. The one exception has always been Molly, a bubbly rom-com loving ghost, who stuck by Sabrina's side all through her lonely childhood.

Her personal life starts looking up when Ray, the new local restaurateur, invites Sabrina to his supper club, where he flirts with her over his famous Brandy Old-Fashioneds. He's charming and handsome, but Sabrina tells herself she doesn't have time for romance - she needs to focus on finding a job. Except the longer she's in the Dells, the harder it is to resist her feelings for Ray. Who can turn down a cute guy with a fondness for rescue dogs and an obsession with perfecting his fried cheese curds recipe?

When the Dells starts to feel like home for the first time and with Ray in her corner, Sabrina begins to realize that she can make a difference and help others wherever she is.

Critic Reviews

“I am absolutely smitten with The Kindred Spirits Supper Club. Amy E. Reichert has created a heart-squeezing love story, with a perfect sprinkling of mystery and magic. A deliciously sweet tale about ghosts, growing up, and going home. Reichert has hit her stride in this one!” (Emily Henry, New York Times best-selling author of Beach Read)

"The Kindred Spirits Supper Club is such a sweet, fun read. It's warm, cozy, and full of hometown charm - and there's a brilliantly quirky cast of ghosts, too!" (Beth O’Leary, Sunday Times best-selling author of The Switch)

"Delicious, heart-warming, and a ghost who wears Chanel? Unsurprisingly, I found The Kindred Spirits Supper Club utterly unputdownable!" (Evie Dunmore, author of A Rogue of One's Own)

An Amazing Book

This is the best book I've listened to in a very long time! The characters are so charming and their stories are so entertaining that I was sorry to say goodbye to them. I loved the very real details of anxiety/ introverted personality that were handled in a positive, and sometimes funny way. I would LOVE to have a sequel! In any case, I am a new fan of Amy E. Reichert and hope to read many more of her books.

A fantastic listen!

Absolutely loved this book from the start to the finish. The narration was fantastic. The characters were great to follow.

I was excited to read this due to the fact the author is from Wisconsin. The touches with the Wisconsin feels were so fantastic. I could not wait to have another Old Fashioned!

I had all the feels during this book. It was great being a proud Wisconsin girl to listen to little pieces of growing up in this state.

Wanted to like it more

Love the author. This one was tough for me. Not a genre I typically read, but again love this author so gave it a shot. It was sweet and yet it took forever to get there for me and by that time I was mostly checked out. At times I found the narration irksome. And yet, looking forward to what come next!!

Quirky Romance story

I like the combination of modern romance, anxiety and friendly ghosts. Very original but I had to make myself finish it. Glad I did.

This was such a great book! I struggled to put it down. I stayed up during late hours after studying for my finals all day. I completely recommend this book!
